Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Away at Derby and it isn't on Sky! Yet. Would you stick with the same side that worked at Boro or maybe shake it up and bring some more attacking players on? Give the new, or old, signings a chance like Miquel, Bakayogo and Danns? Would you like to see good ol' 4-4-2 back? Or Whitbreads' big ginger head on a spike? What will the score be and what are the dangers the Sheep Shaggers pose? All reasonable questions to dissect and discuss like the gentleman I know you all are
Dan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Vardy These are shit, get it on the deck and go at the cvnts.
Brooksy Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Think it'll be similar to last season unfortunately. 1-0 or 2-1 defeat.
NewburyFox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Vardy These are shit, get it on the deck and go at the cvnts. Exactly this. We need to take the game to them, and play with some flair and creativity. I don't want to see the same midfield that started against Leeds, there's not enough creativity there. And Schlupp ahead of Konchesky please.
Deucalion Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Although Vardy did well enough on Saturday with precious little service, I think Wood impressed more when he came on. Wood to start for me.
Lasty Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 I would be satisfied with a point from this as Derby appear to have something about them this season and have started promisingly.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Will be a tight game, one goal in it Schluppinator at left wing back Drinky James Knocky midfield Otherwise same team
Happy Fox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Nothing less than a win will suffice cannot stand the f**king Sheepshaggers gloating after the game if we lose.
jmono84 Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Can't find any update re ticket sales... Does anyone have an idea if tickets are still available? It's ok I looked where I shoulda looked
kingfox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Whitbread De Laet - James - Drinkwater - King - Schlupp Wood - Vardy
SystonFox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Will Hughes will score 10 for them in an 11-10 defeat cos he is really that incredible. We should pull a toilet seat off and a metal sign and smash them the fvck up. COME ON LESSSSTTTTTTOOOOHHHHH
Leicesterpool Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Kasper Moore Whitbread Morgan De Laet Schlupp James King Drinkwater Waghorn Vardy Bench: Logan, Konchesky, Marshall, Danns, Nugent, Wood & Dyer
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Will be a tight game, one goal in it Schluppinator at left wing back Drinky James Knocky midfield Otherwise same team Absolutely this. Given that Pearson is experimenting with a youthful, 5-3-2 formation, it makes no sense keeping on playing Konchesky. If you're going to go for it Nigel, do it properly and let's really see how Schlupp develops in this new formation.
Deucalion Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 What about the new signing? (I can't remember his name.) Surely a better bet at left back than Schlupp?
foxesfan98 Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Whitbread De Laet Konchesky James Drinkwater Knockaert Wood Vardy Subs: Logan, Miquel, King, Schlupp, Nugent, Dyer, Waghorn
TrentFox Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Morgan - Whitbread- Miquel De Laet - Drinkwater - King - Dyer Knockaert Wood - Vardy
Corky Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Last year we were a shambles in this match, and it was freezing. Hopefully our performance, result and the weather will be improved this Saturday.
Monsell1976 Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Vardy These are shit, get it on the deck and go at the cvnts. I would go with that dan, right formation against Leeds, not the right players, the side you suggest is alot more positive and would create alot more. For some mad reason I have brought tickets for the derby game, I just hope it's more entertaining.
lgfualol Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Wood Subs in order of importance: Vardy, Waghorn, Marshall, Dyer, Drinkwater, Whitbread, Logan
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Can see Derby winning this, but I hope not, No Drinkwater though please.
Salieri Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Whitbread De Laet - Drinkwater - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Wood
Guest Col city fan Posted 12 August 2013 Posted 12 August 2013 Stick with the same side (except Schlupp for Konch), stick with 5-3-2 and grind out a bore draw. I'm more than happy to do that away from home. At home, I want to see us playing more attractive football. Winning at home, drawing away will see us into the play-offs I would suspect.

We should be aiming for +35 points on the road.

Agreed, we need to be more adventurous on the road too, certainly in the more 'winnable' games. Depends on what the ambitions are, but surely we should be aiming for top 2, realistic or not.

Depends on what the ambitions are, but surely we should be aiming for top 2, realistic or not. Be careful what you wish for. Our away form last season was much worse than when under Pearson's first tenure. That season, the win at home, draw away did us well. I anticipate that's what Nige is looking at this time too. There are many teams in the Championship this season that, if we go to their place with a focus on attacking, will dick us. The prudent man will look to be defensively tight and to hit on the break. 5-3-2, I think, enables this more.
