Bayfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Pickle Onion Monster Munch. Tomato Snaps. And BBQ Hula Hoops Are the only way to travel.
Burmesefox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 And you'll still be tasting them this afternoon! They repeat something rotten on me! That's their USP - "taste these not once but twice"
theessexfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I'm definitely with you lot on the Pickled Onion Monster Munch and the BBQ Hula Hoops, they are sublime. Not big on roast chicken Walkers.
coolhandfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Good money for a player who we only paid 750K for, if he doen't want to be here, this is for the best.
Kitchandro Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Fvcking hell, I can't believe I've not read this thread for 3 days. So firstly, Pearson is criticised for making positive subs at half time in an attempt to sharpen our attack and win the game. Which we do. I guess people would be happier if we just waited too late like against Leeds? Anyway, Marshall. I am disappointed it hasn't worked out for him because he's a talented and exciting player. But last season he was average at best and I think it's perfectly clear he is a thick little scumbag with an attitude problem. Telling the fans to fvck off, mouthing off about how much more money he has than everyone else in the casino, countless noises about him having the hump, it all points to the obvious. It's a shame but he's got no one to blame but himself. It's got nothing to do with tracking back and all that bollocks, it's got more to do with him getting the ball and doing bugger all with it for most of the season. He's one of those young players, and there are other ones here as well as many at clubs, who will be a wasted talent unless they knuckle down, man up and show some maturity. The People's Hero actually gets more childish by the day - 'oh, you don't agree that Pearson is an idiot? You must think Pearson is more important than the club! You must hate Leicester! Why won't you admit what you're really feeling? I know you think Pearson is an idiot you just won't admit I'm right. And I'm going to tell you about it constantly because I need attention so badly'! Just fvck off you insufferable twat. The modd in the camp obviously is good apart from a few bad eggs. The kind of players who plague every club, I assure you. Quarter pounder with cheese.
breadandcheese Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 It's a shame it hasn't worked out with Marshall because he clearly has talent. I think there's something in what people are saying regarding NP's tactical instincts that restricts our more creative flair players, but then Marshall hasn't pushed on developmentally either. Given first team football and a manager to put an arm round his shoulder, he probably will develop, but right now, that's not with us. We seem to have a good team, who are picking up points, so NP must be given credit. It's also clear the difference in NP's signing policy over Sven's. The players that other teams want, who we can realistically get rid of are all NP's players. The others, we've either had to pay to get rid of (Beckford) or cannot sell them for love nor money.
Dantheman13 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Really? What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? all I know is your mrs swallows
Leicesterpool Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 This is the first i've heard about this as there been any bids for him? Such a shame he's very talented lad that has been played in the wrong positions, when he first joined us Nigel placed in him in the centre midfield where to be honest he looked comfortable, then in the new season he played him on the wing and since then he hasn't been the same player. I've got to admit i think Nigel as let Ben down for me!
Alf Bentley Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Just checked Wiki for his purchase price: £750k plus potential add-ons, they reckon. So a £1m sale would probably be a profit. Then again, they claim that he's 6ft tall...is that right? He must have a hell of a hunchback when he runs, then!
Guest MattP Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Shame as he's a talented player but judging by his appearances in town over the last few months he seems desperate to throw it all away for the Z list celeb lifestyle. If we get a million it might look like decent business in a few years.
Bettsj2 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Bettsj2 - fair enough and point well made. IMO players should work hard to get back in the team. If they do that and it doesn't work out, then let them move on. If they're not prepared to fight for their place, then let them move on. He might not fit in with NP's style of play and recent results suggest that the team are doing well without him. Will be interested to see what the future has in store for him. Hope the club have included a sell on clause in the deal. I think if he played for someone like Palace or QPR where they really dont give a shit about defending, they just want to make sure they score more than they concede, he'll be ridiculously good. There's no doubt he's a good player for that style. Wish him well.

There's no doubt he's a good player for that style. Wish him well. I think he is god defensively- certainly better than Dyer and Knockaert in that area. I'll be really disappointed and surprised if we sell him. Good
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Shame if he goes, especially as he is predictably going to play out of his skin for them!!!!
The Guvnor Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Talk sport just suggested he is on his way to Blackburn
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Talk sport just suggested he is on his way to Blackburn Isn't that the radio equalivant of twater ?
Guest Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Talk sport just suggested he is on his way to Blackburn I'm sorry you've mistaken this for a thread about Ben Marshall. It's actually about sauces and flavours of crisps. Regards
Strokes Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I'm sorry you've mistaken this for a thread about Ben Marshall. It's actually about sauces and flavours of crisps. Regards I've just had a packet of phileas fogg, nacho cheese and jalapeno flavour. Wow

theessexfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I've just had a packet of phileas fogg, nacho cheese and jalapeno flavour. Wow What sort of crisps are phileas fogg?
The God Emperor Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 when it comes to crisps I tend to stick to the holy trinity. ready salted, cheese and onion and salt and vinegar
theessexfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I tend to avoid cheese and onion nowadays, the smell puts me off.
Strokes Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 What sort of crisps are phileas fogg? First time I've had them, they were on offer in the tescos close to work. I will be trying a few more flavours over the weeks, I will make sure I update you all here in the rightful thread.
The God Emperor Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 seen them them advertised but I've never tried them. that would be a great help
KFS Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Those Walkers crinkles are so good. Kettle chips are decent too.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Bacon Frazzles for me.. In fact, my head's frazzled by Marshall leaving... Then again, it sounds like he must have jumped through 'hula hoops' to get this transfer? Wotsit all about?
