ScouseFox Posted 19 February 2015 Posted 19 February 2015 that'd be one hell of a storyline. i haven't watched it in years either, think the stacey/bradley/max/tanya christmas storyline was the last one i remember seeing, sort've wanted to give it another go around all this drama but then realised i've missed about 10 months of this storyline so probably not best to try and join in with 2 days to go haha. there's some suggestions for drinking in the ticket thread, i wasn't much use cos i've only ever been as a "home" fan so drank either in usual haunts in town that aren't really football related or gone to home pubs with mates. as for parking it's a bit like filbo was, just a stadium in and amongst a load of terraced housing and roads, so there's roadside parking but it'll probably be mainly permit holders/residents only etc. think you can park around walton road for free with no troubles (about a 10 min stroll away) but obviously that fills up early doors as it's the easiest/best place to stop. there's car parks that you have to pay dotted around anfield/stanley park like there is around the walkers which is probably the most sensible suggestion. if you're not leaving it too late then apparently best all round place to park i the walton sports centre (l4 9xp). costs £4 (or £5, the fella i spoke to can't remember haha), but you can park there no hassle, it's about a 10 minute walk to the ground from there but you avoid post match traffic and it's about 5 minutes till you're back towards the motorways post game.
