The probable order in terms of who everyone wants to avoid.

Bayern

Real

Barca

Chelsea

Athletico

Arsenal

PSG

Dortmund

United

Arsenal, really?

--

Anyway, pleased United won, keeps The Chosen One in a job for a few more weeks, fingers crossed he can produce something for the Man City game next Tuesday.

That double save from De Gea in the first half looks even better now, proper saved them. I really was expecting a late Greek goal, it would of been the story of the Moyes reign so far if they did. Thought Phil Jones played really well too.

Tough draw no matter who anyone gets, all of them teams have the ability to score a lot of goals, simple as that really. I could quite easily see United scoring in the Nou Camp, just as I could also see Dortmund scoring a couple at Madrid or Stamford Bridge. The first home tie in these quarter finals are going to be huge, the ties could all be pretty much over after the first game.

Are people really arguing over Rugby and Football? And footballers falling over on the floor?

I'd like to see...

Atletico v Dortmund

Chelsea v PSG

Man Utd v Barcelona

Real Madrid v Bayern

In an ideal world, id teams from the same nation will avoid each other as much as possible. Always think its a bit of a shame to see a domestic game unless it is a final/semi

Posted

I'm pretty sure if there's two teams from the same country in the semis then they make sure those two sides are paired together to make it two different countries' teams in the final.

That said, 2011/12 Semis of Chelsea v Barca and Real v Bayern render this a load of bollocks so ignore me.

bayern vs barca and dortmund vs real last year too lol

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund

PSG vs Chelsea

Bayern Munich vs Manchester United

Teams in bold are who I reckon will progress. Chelsea vs PSG was pretty much just a random guess to be honest, it really could go either way and I would say it's the most unpredictable on paper.

Manchester United are in for a tanking! lol

Madrid will beat Dortmund over those two legs.

PSG vs Chelsea… Could go either way.

And Barcelona will edge Atlético.

Semis:

Barca vs Real

Final

Man Utd are gonna get their arses handed to them.

PSG v Chelsea, glad that's happened as that's the most even possible tie IMO.

Real Madrid will get their revenge from last year.

Barcelona to go through for me.

Got a Man U fan sat here next to me at work, convinced their going to win.

I've no idea why.

Guardiola v Moyes

Moyesy will tactically out-think him.

really hope atleti beat barca.

i assume the first team out in the draw is at home first? so the first leg is how they read on paper?

Barca, Real, PSG, Utd all at home first leg.

decent, gives atletico a real chance at home second leg.

can't see chelsea going out, real and bayern should progress comfortably based on this season's form, top game is toughest to call imo.
