jamesmilner Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 The truth is he shouldn't do it .Hes a twat for doing twice and shouldn't do it again . End of .....
blue army 1988 Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 How does people know its a bad thing? Maybe he does it to celebrate for the fans being so loud? Maybe its a tongue in cheek thing and he does it so the fans sing even louder. There could be many reasons why he does it.
purpleronnie Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 There is no bond between players and fans in this country. Check out the bundesliga highlights or most other european games where all the players go up to fans after the game shaking their hands etc...some even join them singing songs. Although having said that it helps when their stewards allow this to happen instead we get stewards panicking when a player comes near the fans.

The Doctor Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Pearson is to blame for this. The manager sets such a terrible example with his relationship with the fans and the local media that's it's no surprise that some of the younger players are thinking it's fine to have a pop at the fans. Pearson is arrogant enough to forget that the fans have been here for decades and will be here for decades more. He's nothing but a blip in the history of this club and should show a bit more respect. We need Pearson to sort his attitude out first before we can expect it from the likes of Drinkwater. Only person Nige seems to have a problem with is Stringer. He's far more open with the rest of the media, and the only pop at the fans is the delusions of grandeur bit 2 seasons back: which was a fair comment tbh, the arrogance that season of "we've spent multi-millions, we should be walking the league" was pretty bad.
Bayfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 That's not true, we as supporters are customers not his boss, I have in the past when a client has questioned how I operate showed them the finished product and said look I do know what I am doing. Chicken and egg mate. Without supporters he has no job. As there would be no clubs!! And before anyone comes back and says tv pays wages now yeah because they charge companies massive money to advertise. To more fans.
ian1984summer Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Precisely, we pay the money so we can have our say. Doesn't like it then he can go or sort it out. I am going to the pub tonight, because I am spending money there doesn't give me the right to abuse the staff.

Its a global game mate, the tv money comes from selling the rights abroad et all.
Fox92 Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Its a global game mate, the tv money comes from selling the rights abroad et all. Still paid by the public (the fans). Without us there wouldn't be no club let alone any players.
Burmesefox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Really don't blame him with some of the shit he gets given by our fans.
Zingari Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Maybe he's doing an impression of Gary Lineker.
marbelladave Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 FFS it's banter..... You tell him he's shit, he tells you to fook off. No problems here......
The Horse's Mouth Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 He should do, I would. He was used as the scapegoat for the reason our form was so awful in the latter stages of last season.
Jordan Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 How do we know Drinkwater wasn't trying to get the crowd going, like Hulk Hogan? Still paid by the public (the fans). He's paid by Vichai. Let's not kid ourselves. Leicester City record financial losses every season.
5waller5 Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I am going to the pub tonight, because I am spending money there doesn't give me the right to abuse the staff. You're drinking in the wrong pub mate!!
whitwickfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I don't know what all the fuss is about .he gets his arrogance from his mentor
Foxy Bingo Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 To me it just shows pure arrogance. As a footballer you have to be able to take occasional stick from fans who pay good money to support the team. It's just that DD seems to think he's our best player. Memories of Ritchie Wellens in both style of play and personality..

MooseBreath Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I am going to the pub tonight, because I am spending money there doesn't give me the right to abuse the staff. What if you pay them £50,000 and all they serve up is a pint of pure dog shit? Might you allow yourself to criticise then?
Bayfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Its a global game mate, the tv money comes from selling the rights abroad et all. Yes but the only reason these companys have the money to buy the rights is due to the amount they charge to companys wishing to advertise for 30secs during a game. Look at the super bowl in the states an ad during that costs millions. Why? Because people are watching.

In their eyes you are irrelevent.
Bayfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I am going to the pub tonight, because I am spending money there doesn't give me the right to abuse the staff. So if you order a pint and i take your money then proceed to piss in your glass. For the record it would be stronger than fosters. You'd do what? Sit and sup it up? For the record. On the dd ear cupping. If he cups his ears when i'm near the front of a stand i may cup his neck.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 do you not think players read/ hear about what the fickle foxestalk fanatics say, at all? if he did he would know that a decent percentage of people on here think he's slow, negative, can't pass forward etc etc. he would then extrapolate it out and assume a lot of our fans slate him, which isn't true, it's just a few negative internet football 'experts'.I don't think he would be on FT surely?
Bayfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I was alluding to the fact that your £30 is really of no interest to the club. In their eyes you are irrelevent. On that basis unless you are a top 4 club. Then we are all irrelevant. Our club is living of the back of the premier league success. Based on the fact that dd got released by a top 4 club. Ie deemed not good enough. Without my several 1000 pound over the years. Not just 30 quid. We have no club. Meaning he has no job. Why can't people see that. We pay wages. The tv money is a bonus. Not a given.
