cityfanlee23 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 In hindsight... Nigel pearson doing business late? what were we panicking about! BUT. The loan window is his forte as we know he loves a young loanee! But maybe we will see some depart? Danns, Waghorn couple of the youngsters? Hopefully we can get someone in to mix it up a bit, Would love to see someone creative come in! Does anybody know of a link a current loan list?

cityfanlee23 Posted 3 September 2013 Author Posted 3 September 2013 He went last night. So he did Missed it, Good luck to him! hopefully find some form there then come back!
RobHawk Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I guess there will be some good young talent available on loan, the likes of keane and chalobah et al will certainly be highly sought after.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Ain't it a farce eh? So much hype for yesterday and clubs can still sign players. I personally don't give a fcuk whoever nige brings in or doesn't I trust he knows exactly what he's doing.

Their are still a number of very good players that are unattached as well! If the finances are workable Nig can still easily do some very shrewd business! The key may be getting some players out on loan first but we know Nig likes some young talent and there is alot around at the moment!

Made me laugh about lukaku... they were banging on about it for about 4 hours and were getting tense in the last minutes saying "THEY NEED TO GET THE PAPERWORK SORTED IN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES OR FACE LOSING THE DEAL" I was sat thinking... No.. they will sign him tomorrow in the loan market anyway if they don't get him today...

To be honest although they are classy classy players... I dont think we need chalobah now (Drinkwater, james, King, Hammond) And not sure we need keane now.. (St ledger, Morgan, Whitbread, super moore, Miguel) - Would it be justifiable? What do you think we need? I think we need a fast right winger... Give Knocky some time attacking mid? We have dyer and schlupp on the left wing... (Would love to see baka get a run Lwb)
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 September 2013 Author Posted 3 September 2013 Don't quote me on it but im sure Prem to Prem loans have to be done during the transfer window! Fair enough then.... Atleast I thought i was right
RobHawk Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 To be honest i think we just need a little more competition in a few places but that alot will depend on who goes out! I doubt we will get either Chalobah or Keane to be honest! I would take chalobah but realistically we need to get Danns out first! Another winger would also be priority! maybe a right back but your looking at someone less established just to provide some competition rather than replace de laet!

But seriously how can you just accept that, I'm sure Pearson would have liked to got rid of a few players and bought in replacements so I'm fairly sure he isn't that happy with his squad.

But seriously how can you just accept that, I'm sure Pearson would have liked to got rid of a few players and bought in replacements so I'm fairly sure he isn't that happy with his squad. Because we all appreciate the fact that NP sees the players in training every day, he knows how they're playing, he knows if we need more! We also see that he doesn't have the key to the bank! If the money isn't there then that is that! I would've loved a few new faces just for the excitement but it hasn't happened. Oh. Well.

But seriously how can you just accept that, I'm sure Pearson would have liked to got rid of a few players and bought in replacements so I'm fairly sure he isn't that happy with his squad. Im sure he would too.But we know pretty much that anyone who had been poisoning the dressing room wouldve been moved on by now. Sure im frustrated that the likes of Danns and Gallagher won't move- should we ever fall foul of FFP Rules, itd be playets like this that would rigjtly get the flack from us fans. The other side of the coin though is that really those two and other fringe players are perfectly capable of putting in decent shifts for us if called upon. If we were paying X thousands a week for a player with one leg and therefore incapable of playing for us then I'd be calling on Nige to do more to get them shifted. I said in a previous thread I'd love Sako here which is a possibility, however i realise that however many times i view this thread or however many posts I make it'll make absolutely fcuk all difference to who comes in/goes out in this loan window. What will be will be.
cityfanlee23 Posted 3 September 2013 Author Posted 3 September 2013 I think somebody mentioned this already... Im not ITK and is not from fantastic source.. But apparently we are liked with marc albrighton again... Probably nothing though.
Happy Fox Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I reckon we will bring in a striker and right winger on loan.
Nick Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I would take Albrighton into our squad in a heartbeat - Premiership quality player. It would be a great loan deal for us.
jock2612 Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 What happens now re:Konch loan or back in the team. It seems odd that the club are paying such high wages and not including him the squad. There is speculation about other player but they still play. I suppose it means the club are trying to arrange a loan deal?
lgfualol Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Can't we just promote a u21 winger to first team and pretend he's new?
ronnup Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 Wing backs are vital for our formation. We need better, on the left at least. Real quality.

Leicesterpool Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 I think somebody mentioned this already... Im not ITK and is not from fantastic source.. But apparently we are liked with marc albrighton again... Probably nothing though. I heard this one too, another thing to mention is back in January Leeds expressed interest in taking Albrighton on loan till the end of season, Albrighton of course wasn't getting much first team action so he fancied going however Lambert advised him not to. Despite him not getting involved in the first team much, Lambert does like Albrighton and sees him one for the future but it's clear that Lambert is going to particularly in where Albrighton goes. Lambert still sees a future in him. All i can say is come on Pearson get your finger out and try and sign this lad he's way better than Knockaert and Dyer. But another thing to mention on Albrighton is like a young Gallagher in which i mean. When he's good he's very good, but when he's poor he's very poor also consistence one week he can be good the other week not, but like Gally he's got some power in both of his feet. The championship maybe the right level for this lad.
