shen Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Its not a fooking tickling competition! We desperately need someone to dish out some shit! Far too faggoty last season! So what would you say if our new Polish recruit announced he was gay? Would his elbows be faggoty then?
bovril Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 So what would you say if our new Polish recruit announced he was gay? Would his elbows be faggoty then? Someone should ask Marcin if he's gay. Baggsy you first.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 I doubt 'Wasyl' is gay: Better ask his wife Joanna (with whom he has two children, Oskar and Zuzia) .
shen Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 I doubt 'Wasyl' is gay: You're missing the point...

Narborough_fox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 This guy is my new favourite player.

AlphaMaleFox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 It's not my fault that I knew Wasyl long before signed for us. Edit: bloody mobile.
Cincinnati Fox Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Can't wait to see him against joey barton
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 September 2013 Posted 18 September 2013 Clever signing IMO Risk free really Yes, we can't lose on this deal.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 I doubt 'Wasyl' is gay: Better ask his wife Joanna (with whom he has two children, Oskar and Zuzia) . Wahwahwahweewah! She would definitely get it in the trumper!P.S please don't kill me Marcin
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Pretty obvious I knew wasn't it? You don't just come on a forum and say a name of a player when asked a question. Just not gonna do anything in what others perceive as "drawing attention to myself" or "trying to boost my ego" just not worth the hassle. This isn't an attempt for people to "beg" me to share things either, I've simply had enough. Stop whining Bertie and keep the info coming...
MANFACE Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 This video is scary. He's an absolute beast, who 'defends' with his elbows more than anything else. Potentially worrying? Hopefully all of that can be coached out. Nah, he's ok. That wasn't football he was playing, it was Aussie rules Football. Great signing.
XLM Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Tunchev is one of the most mild-mannered guys you could ever meet. His disciplinary record is, let's say, quite a bit better than this guy's. He's a completely different type of player and we got him when he was 26 so I'm not sure where the comparisons come from. Did you know him yeah? Let's be honest our current squad is full of mild-mannered players. Think back to your Sunday league days, nobody ever liked playing against the kid who had a reputation for snapping players. Even at 33, I can't see how a player with 60 internationals for a decent side won't be of benefit to our club.

I was just saying he's very different to Tunchev, that's all. Anyway....
nickelbyfox Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Weirdly - I am very happy about this - very excited to see him play! In his interview too looks massively keen! Just hope he isn't shit now we have him at the back end of his career
Loggy88 Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 I think could be a very shrewd signing. Tough, plenty of strength, will be hard to play against for opposition. Kind of player think we have lacked in last 2 or 3 years. Very encouraged by start we have had, but as I'm sure everyone else is thinking, I'm not getting carried away. Long season, anything can still happen.
cuddly ken Posted 19 September 2013 Posted 19 September 2013 Injury to Whitbread and SSL being rubbish would mean Pearson feels we are light at the back. Close to being fully fit SSL is going on loan to QPR, eat your heart out Berp!
HoustonFox Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Close to being fully fit SSL is going on loan to QPR, eat your heart out Berp! Been sniffing the glue again have we?
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Was a little amused when he said it was a very good atmosphere against Wigan. He'll have played in stadiums that were a lot, lot louder than that. PR Wasyl.
Anderlecht Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 Just a quick word from an Anderlecht fan... Wasyl (his nickname) is a real cult hero at Anderlecht. Always played decend games for us, in the league and in Europe. He's a good proper defender, hard and strong with the head. In his first years he made a couple of hard challenges, but always fair in our eyes. But the Belgian press jumped on it and tried to make him look like a gangster. He used his elbows a couple of times too which didn't help either. The fact that he only spoke a little bit of English at that moment also didn't help his relation with the Belgian press. Then came the moment Belgian 'rising star' Witsel, a Standard Liege player (at that moment), broke his leg in an absolutely horrible tackle in our hate game with Standard. See youtube for images. Instead of admitting he tackled in an very bad way and had no eye for the ball at all, Witsel, said he was trying to hit the ball. And he also said: "Wasyl got what he deserved", because he is known as a hard player. But the club, his teammates and the fans stood behind Wasyl every second. But again, the Belgian press, who should have condempted the tackle by Witsel just got in his arse (sorry for the word) and defended Witsel. Mainly because he's one of the new young good Belgian generation and Wasyl 'only' a Pole, sad but true! He only got a couple of weeks suspension. Wasyl, from that moment, never talked with the press in Belgium again. He recoverd fast and with a unbelievable passion to get back to the game! A real example, not moaning but doing everything to get back. He looks like a dangerous guy but is a lovely chap, always ready for a chat and a picture with the fans. And according to his teammates a real calm, down to earth fella and a great family man too. During his revalidation Anderlecht singed him a new contract because they didn't want to turn their back on him. And after some time he made it back to the squad. In June his contract ended and the club and Wasyl did'nt come to a new deal, sad really, many (it not all) fans wanted him to stay. Hope he's happy in Leicester though. Looking forward to travel to LCFC and see him at work again! PS: a great video of Wasyl is this one. After his fighting comeback he was back in the squad and this was the first game against Standard . He made it 5-0 from the penalty spot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaUq4gHZKLY Here he's celebrating our last Champions title back in May: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF_j3QX3rPQ Sorry for my english at some times ;-) All the best to you, LCFC and Wasyl!
KFS Posted 20 September 2013 Posted 20 September 2013 My god, what a hero. Can't wait to see this bloke play!

I actually fancy him I see that Wasyl is known for scoring a lot of goals from defence, are they penalties and free kicks or goals from open play? Cheers
