Bobby Hundreds Posted 23 September 2013 Posted 23 September 2013 I only see a maths tutoring geek when I see Todd from his Dillon Panthers days.
21st Century Fox Posted 23 September 2013 Author Posted 23 September 2013 I was thinking how great the casting is on Breaking Bad after seeing Robert Forster appear, then that twat from the Orange cinema adverts came on
Finnegan Posted 24 September 2013 Posted 24 September 2013 I literally had a little cheer when Forster came on, haha. Couldn't have been anyone else really.
goose2010 Posted 24 September 2013 Posted 24 September 2013 Surely the last scenes have to be with Jesse and Walt. Walt will kill him self with the Ricin that he went to get from the house after so massive shoot out with Todd etc. He will also kill his business partner, but i think some how he has to save Skyler. So maybe he will get arrested confess and get her off and then take the Ricin?? amazing that there is 1 episode left and no one really has an idea where they are going! and to be honest for me the finale was last week and this is all just a bonus.
VinceNoir Posted 24 September 2013 Posted 24 September 2013 Hmm, maybe the ricin is for Lydia? After all, she seemed to be threatened by the fact that Skyler has seen her and is still alive. It'll be one hell of an ending. I don't think I'm ready for this brilliant show to end.
Tom17LCFC Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Very, very poignant ending. You could sort of see it coming but I still genuinely can't believe it. Arguably the best show ever.
pSinatra Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 I was wrong about the ending. I saw Walt & Jesse sipping pina coladas, whilst having a back rub on a remote Caribbean beach somewhere. I suppose there were too many loose ends that needed resolving & a lot to fit into the final episode. All we could hope for was some interesting deaths. Not a let-down on that part. Glad he put the 'for the family' shit to bed.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Fantastic TV, the Elliot & Gretchen scene is one of the best things I've watched. When everything clicked into place it all made sense, not sure I loved the A-team shit or Jesse's annoying exit however. And Walt Jnr never did do his Keyser Soze thing at the end.
21st Century Fox Posted 30 September 2013 Author Posted 30 September 2013 Yep that'll do. Tidy and fitting end. Wow. I was desperately trying to hold off and watch it tonight but I caved. My only annoyance is I won't be able to listen to my favourite Badfinger song in the same way again.
ousefox Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Decent enough ending. I've watched it all and there were some quality episodes and brilliant characters but I definitely think it's a little overrated. Quite a few episodes that were nothing special and a little dull. Certainly not the best tv show ever for me despite what so many people are saying.
Ozwin Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 I'm actually properly properly gutted it's over. That's how you make a TV show folks.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 How did Walt get the ricin in that sealed pack of Stevia?
Beliall Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 great end to the series. really enjoyed the show. shame its over.
Unabomber Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Great end to one of the greatest ever shows.
21st Century Fox Posted 30 September 2013 Author Posted 30 September 2013 How did Walt get the ricin in that sealed pack of Stevia? I assumed he'd prepared it beforehand as he knew her ritual and just planted it before she got there. It can't be difficult to reseal a sachet if you've got a few hours to kill after knocking up an automated M60.
Jay Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Fitting end to a great series, always leave them wanting more as they say. I really hope that prequel with saul gets produced because he was one of many amazing characters in a series packed with great characters and great moments.
MC Prussian Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 The ending felt a bit rushed - I thought there was more to the very last episode than just 55 minutes. Still, some classy scenes and plenty of justice done. That weapon - absolute stunner.
The God Emperor Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 spoilers I've not really enjoyed this last half of the series as much as the others, but this was a great ending. everything got resolved, the robo gun in the boot reminded me more of the earlier series where walt still used his knowledge of science to get an upper hand against otherwise stronger enemies (crazy 8, the bag of exploding rocks against tuco) and that last nod between Jesse and walt was a great moment. all in all it was how a tv show should end, it made me throw my fist up in the air and shout "yeah" inside and this isnt the first instance breaking bad has made me feel that way. alot of tv shows try to be too smart and artsy, breaking bad was smart but it had the right amount of fist in the air instant gratification moments to make it entertaining to watch. excellent end to an excellent show, I'm gutted its over but at least there's still better call saul coming
Number 6 Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Sensational. Great end to a great show. Ozymandias my favourite TV ep ever. Credit to all involved.
sphericalfox Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 God, just finished the final chapter. It's been pissing me off not being able to read any of these threads. Can't fault the acting and writing for this show. Superb.
VLC86 Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Decent enough ending. I've watched it all and there were some quality episodes and brilliant characters but I definitely think it's a little overrated. Quite a few episodes that were nothing special and a little dull. Certainly not the best tv show ever for me despite what so many people are saying. If you don't think Breaking Bad is the best show ever then the best course of action is to tread lightly
21st Century Fox Posted 30 September 2013 Author Posted 30 September 2013 Warning: Massive Breaking Bad Spoiler: Bollocks why didn't I see this at least one week ago!
