Not good enough for the past 6-7 months on the whole for me, 

He's one of the best in the league on his day, but he lets too many chances go astray

Apart from the penalties, he has offered nothing since Jan.

And apart from goalscoring opportunities.  Isn't he our most regular assister this season?  He's gotta be up there.

 

Edit: Joint second with Dyer on 3, behind Vardy on 4.  He's converted 3 times the amount that any other player's managed this season (6). Useless twat.

His performances have not been good enough, that is evident from any game i have watched since jan.

 

 

 

Whether it be his first touch, finishing or his inability to play a simple pass, he has been poor.

When you say 11 appearances 7 goals 3 assists, it sounds impressive,

 

When you say 11 appearances 2 goals from open play, the rest penalties (That any player could have taken) 

And about 400 wasted opportunities, It doesnt bode well for us!

Konchesky takes a better penalty! so if he took them, and nugent was on 2 goals, what would your opinion of him be? (Honestly) do you feel he's doing enough?

Probably not.

But the fact is, he IS taking them and he IS scoring them. You can't take fiction and say "what if" when he has been scoring penalties.

3rd in the league only lost twice in 12, let's find an individual we can moan about. Get a grip and smile you miserable fookers!

The way some of you make out we play with 10 men Nuge is that shit, in this division to get into the top 6 everyone plays their role. So far we are winning lighten up

I agree... But we've not had a penalty for 2 games.. and oh look.. no goal from nugent with about 10 chances 7 of them being clear easy goals.. (Easy for a professional footballers standards)

 

I understand that you cannot take those penalties away from him, but think outside the box a bit!

same old sh1t from you.., If I took the penalties nuge would be on 2... Hes on 5 penalties and we are letting him off the hook for playing absolutely sh1te????

if you are so desperate to keep banging on about the number of goals hes scored.. tell me why he has not scored 13 this season?

 

He's playing badly and you keep making excuses because he can score unmarked from 12 yards where the keeper has to stay in his goal untill the ball is kicked?

 

Penalties should never be missed, its easier to score, when its in open play he fluffs it? did you see his 1 vs 1?

It's easy to get carried away, Nugent definitely had a poor game but he still got an assist however the numerous missed chances are frustrating but ultimately we won. Moaning doesn't change anything.

Good point and yes they do count and are important, but we already have the assisting striker, the workhorse.. Vardy!

 

Nugents job is to score!! not just from penalties because we wont get many more this season, Frustration in my posts, I'd give wood a run, or schlupp.. he sounded lively when he came on and made himself a nuisance

Good assist for Vardy but endlessly wasteful again.

Time for Woody.

I do like nugent as I think he links up play well, but tend to agree its time for wood to get a go.

I think if I was wood I would be getting frustrated now, that neither strikers are getting enough goals and he's still not getting a look in.

And it may help nugent being dropped, he might come back hungrier, and try to make a impact of the bench.

Good players out of form need to play themselves into form, but he's had a chance, him or vardy need to sit out a couple for wood.

And yes I know wood has been injured but he's not had a look in since the start of the season.
