Guest Bilo Posted 27 October 2013 Posted 27 October 2013 Grimsby v Scunthorpe definitely the pick of the round, they haven't played one another since 2008 aside from friendlies and pre-season stuff either. Lincoln-Grimsby has superseded it as Grimsby's main rivalry for that reason in recent years, but there's plenty of history between the two. It might be worth a trip up to Blundell Park for this one.
Aus Fox Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Grimsby v scunthorpe is a pretty decent draw and either Stourbridge or Biggleswade Town will be in the 2nd round. All in all a pretty terrible draw. Where is Biggleswade? I think I have the team I will follow in the first round
purpleronnie Posted 28 October 2013 Posted 28 October 2013 Where is Biggleswade? I think I have the team I will follow in the first round Bedfordshire, they play in the southern league premier, step 3.
NewburyFox Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 Lincoln beat Worcester 3-0 yesterday, Plymouth in the next round. Be a tough tie that.
isaidno Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Tamworth vs Bristol City is the stand out tie in the second round
purpleronnie Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Tamworth vs Bristol City is the stand out tie in the second round About the only decent one, great for Tammy.
Lamby Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Depending on who wins in the Plymouth v Lincoln tie I should be going to cheer on Welling. If it is Plymouth then that'll be a weekender down there again. I also know someone who lives down there so that'll be decent.
Father Ted Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 Bury or Cambridge v Sheffield Utd Wycombe Wanderers or Crewe v Preston North End Shortwood or Port Vale v Salisbury City Bristol Rovers or York v Crawley MK Dons v Dover Athletic Boreham Wood or Carlisle United v Brentford Macclesfield Town v Gillingham or Brackley Chesterfield v Southend United Oldham Athletic or Wolverhampton Wanderers v Mansfield Town Rotherham United v Rochdale Peterborough United v Tranmere Rovers Hartlepool United v Coventry City Kidderminster Harriers v Braintree Town or Newport Lincoln City or Plymouth Argyle v Welling United Wrexham v Oxford United or Gateshead Fleetwood Town v Burton Albion Grimsby or Scunthorpe United v Northampton Town Leyton Orient v Walsall Tamworth v Bristol City Stevenage v Stourbridge
Guest Bilo Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 A half decent chance of some non-league teams in the hat for Round 3.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 November 2013 Posted 10 November 2013 So what was the atmosphere like in the Lincolnshire derby? Interesting game tomorrow night, Shortwood United v Port Vale from what i gather from the Vale forums it's the most difficult football ground you can get to, no parking apparently. Plus doesn't help some playing it on a monday night!
KFS Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Got a mate from school who plays for Dover, he's playing MK Dons away. Hopefully it's televised.
Aus Fox Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Come on Stourbridge! After knocking out Biggleswade new FA Cup team to follow.
StanSP Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Got a mate from school who plays for Dover, he's playing MK Dons away. Hopefully it's televised. I've only just realised one of my 'mates' from school is now playing for Peterborough. He was at Coventry for a few years scoring a few goals there while about 17 or 18. He rejected Tranmere's contract in the summer because they wouldn't offer accommodation .
Leicesterpool Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Come on Stourbridge! After knocking out Biggleswade new FA Cup team to follow. How about Stourbridge away in round three?
purpleronnie Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Swindon are refunding fans after they lost to Macclesfield.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Got a mate from school who plays for Dover, he's playing MK Dons away. Hopefully it's televised. Would have thought it will be.
Corky Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 Taylor can add another famous shock to his name, Gillingham lose 1-0 at Brackley Town.
Stadt Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 Taylor can add another famous shock to his name, Gillingham lose 1-0 at Brackley Town.Watched it for a bit, deserved it.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 Well Done to Brackley, i bet that shut up Martin Allen. I heard him before kick off "I hope Gillingham win" and he's suppose to be neutral on live tv?

I heard him before kick off "I hope Gillingham win" and he's suppose to be neutral on live tv? He is the ex-manager of Gillingham, probably has a lot of friends at the club and shows he's not bitter about his sacking.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 November 2013 Posted 18 November 2013 Let's hope Lincoln and/or Grimsby can progress tomorrow night, both in replays.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Grimsby go through after a 2-1 win at Scunthorpe, another non-league side with a chance of Round 3.
