Forest pre match

I should think it's mainly because of the matches running up to it - beating Fulham in the last minute in a memorable match, beating Watford easily in a memorable match, on the back of a winning run, top 2, and playing some really impressive football.

From the ticket sales we can see a lot of people feel the same. And that in itself gets people psyched up - if other people are.

Last season we came into this fixture on a bad run and likewise the season before. One was midweek when the season was petering out and the other was on tv - the ticket sales were disappointing in both.

This reminds me more of my first City - Forest home fixture back in February 2010, there was a huge build up and excitement, the last result between the two had been significant, and by the time kick-off came and especially by the end of the day I knew just how important it was.

What a game to pick as your first City/Forest encounter!

That victory was all the much sweeter after the battering they gave us earlier that season. Certainly shut their fans up!

Even though he's not trained all week?

They've just been on EMT and Vardy has training with the squad.

Actually that was only my first home City - Forest encounter.......

Sadly my first was the battering earlier in the season.

Still, as you say that one made the 3-0 all the sweeter.

I have visions of Vardy running at Hobbs 1-on-1, Hobbs falls on his backside and Vardy slots away for his hat-trick putting City 5-0 up before the roly poly Reid scores a consolation from the penalty spot.

If starting, Dyer will make his 150th appearance for Leicester, Nugent his 100th.

Time to celebrate with a win, though I remain cautious.

This game, more than any other, can go either way. I'd love a 3-1 home win, but we need to be really there today, up for it from the start and limit Forest's chances to a bare minimum.

As Ric has already explained, their strikers tend to love to play against us and Reid is the long-shot threat in midfield.

This game has recipe for disaster written all over it. I'm usually really positive at home but.

They've never won at the KP, we had an awesome result last week, we beat them for the first time in 40 odd years at their place. Full house, rememberance day...

Lose 1-0 - probably an unmarked Jack Hobbs header.

Having said that, I think we will be too strong for Forest.

You know when you're a city fan, when you think: "things are going too well..."

They beat us once at the KP in 2005 I think, but other than that I agree!

I reckon it'll be 2-2. Dont forget that Forest will be fired up for this one in the same way we were fired up for the Watford game. After the craziness of the playoff semi it gets overlooked that we snook in with that last minute winner at the Shitty Ground. They'll be well up for this but we're a tough nut to crack at home.

Yeah they did. 1-0 Gareth Taylor. We dominated them but couldn't score.

They still got relegated though :)

Had a dream last night that we win 6-0. Dead cert for this score then, well worth it given the previous predictive powers of my dreams. Admittedly the dream also involved a large inflatable badger and some semi naked girls but I am confident in my powers.

What are the odds on Muzzy scoring the winner tomorrow? Well worth a £ or 2!

Well at the very least you will see one of his goals, in that fox video the play before the players come out.

Anyone know how to get a copy of that?

I would live this dream to come true not just for the 6-0 win.... Enjoy your Saturday night, hope the badger scratches arnt to sore in the morning
