I know I'm a stuck record but, seriously, there's nothing intelligent about dividing your singing sections. Respect to those that grew that little cluster but you always knew you were doing it in a section designated for families and children so I've very marginal sympathy, frankly. That doesn't mean I agree with having a families only section at games but if it means less of a clamp down on singing, standing and swearing in the rest of the ground then good compromise. A fair post.

Nick Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 For one it will kill any atmosphere that we have started in that area of the ground, like I said previously at one stage we had the loudest fans in the country now look at us I've had my Season ticket in there for around 8 seasons now luckily enough I have a younger sister who goes so I won't be moving seats but to those adults who sit there with no kids this is totally unfair situation. MOVE THE FAMILY STAND. Simple. It should have been where the kop is when we first opened our stadium(let's not get onto that discussion though). Another thing. Cheaper tickets in the 'family stand' Some people might only be able to afford tickets in this section of the ground and might like the view from there? Ashley do you think the adults without children who sit in the Family Stand and 'create atmosphere' behave throughout the game in a manner suitable to be around young children from 5 years and older?

Fair enough they want it to be a more sedate atmosphere but why should that mean removing all fans who haven't gone with a child? I'm sure for games where capacity is nearly full they wouldn't push the issue... but there are shit loads of empty seats elsewhere every single game. So why would anyone even want to sit with a load of kids... actually don't answer that!!!

There's a specific reason why it was put at the other end, something down to sunlight and the club didn't want it's core of season ticket holders (as they thought it would be then) looking into the sun.

Clearly if you are trying to get one over on the club by buying a cheaper ticket than you are supposed to they have every right to ask you for I.D.

Well yeah I do quite frankly my mate and his dad sit above the goal they are both adults. Excellent view they have as well. Why should they move? They join in with the odd song too and behaveofe than acceptable?
GingerrrFox Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I've said it numerous times but the easiest way to solve the problems is to make the seats in the Kop cheaper than the Family stand for individual tickets and make the Family Stand cheaper by way of group discount.

I'm talking about buying an adult ticket in the Family Stand. If I want to sit in that stand I can, as a society we are supposed to be beyond treating people difference because of race, gender, age etc.

People getting in on u22 tickets etc etc. It was inevitable with it being a family stand and all... The only way this is going to improve, is an advanced number moving to L1 etc, that, or a petition or something for the club to see that we are not happy with the atmosphere. I'm sure 5,000 signatures to aid the atmosphere at LCFC wouldn't go ignored if they were threatened with a boycott / going to the local papers about LCFC being against any form of positive atmosphere for the players.

Just buy a dogdy NUS card and get one for a fiver. Because we have a club that thinks if you want to sing and stand you should have to pay £30 to do so but if you're an adult who goes to school in the week you should pay a fiver.

For example giving us that corner up until L, then away fans having K,J3 and J2? Our current L1 could then either stay where it is or move to the H1 which is actually a bigger block.

You do know it's an all seater stadium do you not? If you want to sing your are more than welcome to buy a ticket in the just the ticket area for the same price as the family stand.

You know, considering it's called the family stand???? Make it fair then. If they want families only in the family stand - then move all families from other blocks of the ground into that one stand. Move all fans who want to actually make noise into the Kop. It's a one-way system. They're family obsessed, short-sighted idiots who are for some bizarre reason, doing everything they can to try and steralise the atmosphere at our ground, and they've been at it for years. This move has been done solely to crush N1 again. I hope they enjoy it the day goals are met by a small applause and 500 away fans are outsinging 15,000 home fans.
