tontolcfc Posted 11 November 2013 Share Posted 11 November 2013 Mr Wood has probably the two most important games of his life playing for his native New Zealand in two World Cup Qualifiers. Just want to wish him well on behalf of our forum.

Fox92 Posted 11 November 2013 Share Posted 11 November 2013 Should have let him play against Forest. They don't even play while this weekend. They could have easily allowed him to be a day or so late.

Kitchandro Posted 12 November 2013 Share Posted 12 November 2013 I'd much rather Mexico made it, the world cup's not the same without them. It's also a fvcking joke that we didn't have Wood on Saturday so as far as I'm concerned NZ can go fvck themselves.

And then another in the World Cup
ealingfox Posted 12 November 2013 Share Posted 12 November 2013 Do NZ alternate between playing the Asian play-off team and the CONCACAF play-off team? Was wondering how the fvck they made it to the last World Cup if they have to face the likes of Mexico eventually, and then I saw they played Bahrain in their last play-off. v Bahrain the two-legged play-off finished 0-0, 0-1 NZ, people must have died from the boredom surely? Dan LCFC Posted 12 November 2013 Share Posted 12 November 2013 Good luck to him although sadly I don't think he'll be our world cup representative. That's Knockaert's job.

Manwell Pablo Posted 12 November 2013 Share Posted 12 November 2013 Good luck but impossible to fancy even with Mexico in this form. Your right I wouldn't back them, but they certainly have a chance. Mexico are a shambles at the minute, 4 coaches in six weeks, and have decided they're only naming domestic based players for the play offs they clearly think they've won already. Upset could be on the cards

Lionator Posted 12 November 2013 Share Posted 12 November 2013 For some odd reason the Mexicans haven't selected any players based outside of Mexico which means no Guardado, Javier Hernandez and Dos Santos who are clearly better than some of the domestic players.
