kingcarr21 Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Now we know the teams in next years world cup (well 1 place still up for grabs but with Uruguay 5-0 up on Jordan think its a dead cert who taking last spot) Im interested to know who people think will win the world cup? If we take it that all teams will have no injuries then whos your team? i might put a bet on Argentina to win. I always put 2 bets on with a dark horse nation who might surprise and im going to pick Uruguay with Suarez winning Golden boot. I open it up to the Foxestalk members for discussion
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 i might put a bet on Argentina to win. Argentina haven't got past the quarter-finals since 1990. Same record as England.
Bert Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 I think Spain will win it, but their golden generation won't be there for much longer I don't think. There are cases for possibly 12 teams that could reach the semis. I predict the final four to be - Spain, Germany, Holland & Brazil.
Guest MattP Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 See Argentina and Spain as the standout two with Germany and Brazil just in behind. Chances for Colombia and Holland. See the winner coming from those six, think Argentina might just take it with Messi putting himself alongside Maradona.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 November 2013 Author Posted 20 November 2013 I just fancy a south american team to win it with it being in Brazil. I think the pressure will be too much for Brazil and will fall in the latter stages. Hence why i chose Argentina.

There are so many teams that can do well and get far. I did hear that no European team has won the world cup in south america so could be a first.

If Ronaldo does win the Ballon Dor this year then could fire Messi up to perform at the World Cup to claim it back
Finnegan Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Portugal. Ronaldo could just win it on his own on this form.
kingcarr21 Posted 20 November 2013 Author Posted 20 November 2013 England. About time we won it. Cleverly golden boot
shen Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Brazil will deliver at home. Italy, France or Netherlands to play them in the final.
Dan Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Argentina. Think it's finally their time, and Messi's.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Portugal. Ronaldo could just win it on his own on this form. Are you fishing Finners
Fox92 Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 I'd go for one of Brazil, Germany or Spain. Standard.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Brazil or Argentina. Think Spain have blobbed it now.
Dan Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Got a feeling one of the heavily fancied teams are going to blow it in the groups.
Webbo Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 England. About time we won it. It'll be Brazil or Argentina.
foxfanazer Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Germany for me. Going to have a cheeky tenner on Belgium if they are decent odds. Might be too early for them but they have some top players
absolutelegend Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Germany, Brazil, Spain, and....errr.....Argentina in the last 4, with ze Germans to win out right
Bobby Hundreds Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Germany for me. Going to have a cheeky tenner on Belgium if they are decent odds. Might be too early for them but they have some top players I saw a really early price on Belgium about 7s which is a dreadful price, Bill Hills have them at 16s now.
foxfanazer Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 7s! That's dreadful! 16s isn't bad, 25s would be ideal
Donut Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Would be very hard to see past a south american winner for me. Argentina and Brazil standout candidates, with the best European challenge coming from Spain
