His knees must be a mess. Not just the fact he was a professional footballer, but didn't he have some bad injuries as well? I'm sure I once read that a broken leg kept him out of a Cup final.

In fairness to him i know what its like. Had 8 ops in 10 years due to arthritis after playing football until the age of 41. Struggle now getting up the stairs. He will probably be under the surgeons knife for most of his life now.
