Happy Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 His contract expires next summer according to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/nahki-wells/profil/spieler_173483.html
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 How can you say that he's had about 20 games at div 1 and you could be asking him to play 20 at championship level then nxt season step up to the prem. How the hell can you say it would be a good signing for the supposed 3mill. We could get proven players for less. Fookin Hell Welly, don't get so wound-up!!
Soar Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 £3mil Ridiculous price. Along with the £6.5 million Crystal Palace paid for Dwight Gayle after 5 months in the championship.
Jakemoore Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I think he's a quality talent but whether we need him or not I'm not 100% sure. As some on here have said I think we need another winger!
VLC86 Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Unless Wood left then I can't see this happening. He could be our new signing come January. I would try and bring in an experienced winger to challenge Dyer if his form drops
Walshy5 Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 If we had a prolific goal scorer we'd be unstoppable with the amount of chances we create. 30 shots at goal yesterday apparently. Not that im saying Wells is the answer.
Finnaldo Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Nugent, Vardy and Wood can score goals. No need and for £3 million no chance. I'd think the only reason we'd spend any money is for a winger either on loan or after offloading Gally/Waghorn/St. Ledger
foxfanazer Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Good prospect but I'm quite happy with what we've got. Can definitely see him playing in the championship soon
M0901 Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Remember when Matty Fryatt bagged 30 goals for us in league 1? He hasn't really shone in the Championship. I don't know Bradford that well, but I can't see him justifying the price tag, and we certainly don't need him.
Dan Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Ridiculous price. Along with the £6.5 million Crystal Palace paid for Dwight Gayle after 5 months in the championship. Just shows the inflation in the English game over the past few years. 5 years ago they'd be laughed at for wanting a million.
AKCJ Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 I would consider going in for a really experienced goal scorer in January. Someone like Kevin Phillips (I think he's past it though).
MGLCFC Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Phillips would still be good for the last 20 - 25 minutes if you needed a goal. Even though he's 40, he's a natural goal scorer and could do a job at this level. Whether he's accept a bit part role though is debateable.
LCCFox96 Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 Why does us and forest and always want the same players. Seems like lazy journalism...another East Midlands transfer saga. Regardless I wouldn't say we needed Nakhi wells but he would certainly add something. Not the wisest buy imo as we have similar players and he would command a sizeable fee. In the summer I would have taken this deal though.

Out Foxed Posted 2 December 2013 Posted 2 December 2013 sign him for a mill so my mates from bermuda can start supporting leicester.
LCCFox96 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Maybe Billy Davies knows that Pearson can spot a good player so tries to sign them before we do. Haha tbh I wouldn't disagree with that. Couldn't put that past billy Davies at all!
Lambert09 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 This guy is the shit, genuinely think he would fit straight into a championship team. Wouldnt be surprised to see him in the prem one day, would love us to sign him
MPH Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 January coming up... probably more agent talk trying to get him in the shop window. Get used to it guys. we're top of the league now and we are likely to get linked with even more players now that we GENUINELY look like promotion is a possibility....
Guest MattP Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 3million. Decent prospect but that's up their with the Dwight Gayle signing if anyone pays that.

Jace Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 If QPR are offering £3 million then Tony Fernandes really does have more money than sense
