bovril Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Ah crap! We never seem to do well there and they are absolutely desparate for points. If we win on Tuesday I really will start to believe it's our year.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Why couldnt they wait one more game, so hoped he would not go till we beat them. Wont win now
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I am amazed at how superstitious football fans are.
sylofox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They sack the manager so we have lost how the fvck does that work? Yes sometimes it has an effect but come on FFS. Really have heard it all now.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Trav - spot on. They may have home advantage and a chance of change in mentality but more logically - compare our form versus theirs. I'd take a draw but it's not impossible for us to absolutely batter them Or have a shocker and be thumped like everyone is worried about. Wait and see.
Foxes1 Posted 1 December 2013 Author Posted 1 December 2013 Do you think Mad Mandaric will come and ask for permission to speak to Nigel after all they got on well together
Danizen Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They'll be going out without any instructions, without any tactics, without any preparation and without a new manager to impress with the pessimistic fans on their backs from kickoff...against the best team in the league. If we don't dick all over them, it will be the freakiest of freak results.

Harry - LCFC Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I am amazed at how superstitious football fans are. It isn't superstition as I see it, not for me at least. The club clearly had the feeling around it that Jones was going to go eventually, now that that's happened it could be like a weight off their shoulders. I know some people think of it as an 'omen' or some rubbish like that but I think it genuinely can have an affect on the players. Still think we'll win.
bovril Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I am amazed at how superstitious football fans are. You're right of course, Wednesday are crap. If I wear my lucky blue pants we'll win for sure.
Zingari Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I am amazed at how superstitious football fans are. yes all that sort of stuff is rubbish. Touch wood .
MC Prussian Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I am amazed at how superstitious football fans are. I'm amazed Wednesday didn't sack Jones earlier.
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I'm amazed Wednesday didn't sack Jones earlier. To be honest, so am I. Wednesday really are a sleeping giant and have failed/underperformed for so many years. Along with Utd, the good fans of Sheffield must be wondering what the Hell is going on.

Along with Utd, the good fans of Sheffield must be wondering what the Hell is going on. Long may that continue. Oh and Col I would not put utd sheffield and good fans together either. But utd, wankers and sheffield go well together.
bovril Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 Sleeping giant my arse. Preston with a bigger stadium. Went to Uni in Shef and lived with a United and Wednesday fan and they are insufferable.
kingfox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They will either be up for it, or we will still boss them. Going to be a more interesting game though.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 They'll get a decent crowd in now he's gone as some Wednesday fans were staying away
Chrysalis Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 I just knew this would happen, all the ingredients are there for sure. An easy victory (leading to over confidence) and now playing a team we cant predict how will play or even line up as the manager is sacked.
Happy Fox Posted 1 December 2013 Posted 1 December 2013 There players will be up for it but so will ours cracking game in prospect.
