Been a long time Foxestalk stalker and finally signed up to say... Ed Mowe - what a legend. Had no idea his tenure was coming to an end. He's given us one of the best pitches in the football league for years.

 

Hope he gets a mention and a massive round of applause tonight!

Now that I will agree on. I had the honour of a small jog on it just before the Millwall game, my sons team, of which I'm a coach, where taking part in the fly the flag just before kick off, it was, as you said like a carpet, and it was so smooth even I could make a straight pass on it

Will definitely miss him but I hope his replacement is just as good, if not better. The pitch has always been praised by fans, players, commentators, pundits etc etc and that's in no small part down to Ed Mowe and his team.

I think his one regret will be being robbed of the groundsman of the year title in 2011-12.

 

In all seriousness though, our pitch is quality. It's one thing you can't knock about us.
