Soar Fox Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Is he retiring or is he going to another club?

MalarkyR Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Been a long time Foxestalk stalker and finally signed up to say... Ed Mowe - what a legend. Had no idea his tenure was coming to an end. He's given us one of the best pitches in the football league for years. Hope he gets a mention and a massive round of applause tonight!

Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 I heard he's going into rehab....loves grass too much
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 On the upside, the grass is always greener on the other side...
Bert Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Is he retiring or is he going to another club? He's going to St George's Park.Shame it's had to come to this but wish him all the best. What a great bloke and what a great job he's done for the club. Hope they do something for him but I can't see it. Never lost a game to the weather at the Walkers/KP.

Definitely deserves his chance on the international scene at St George's Park.

What a great bloke and what a great job he's done for the club. Hope they do something for him but I can't see it. Never lost a game to the weather at the Walkers/KP. Here, here. Our pitch is a carpet and has been for a long time. He'll take some replacing.
VLC86 Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 I hope the new groundsman is just as good! I heard he's a top notch Dutch groundsman called Kut De Gras
sylofox Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 sowed his last seed Bit personal don't you think. Been a good servant and all you can do is claim he's firing blanks
LordFox Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Here, here. Our pitch is a carpet and has been for a long time. He'll take some replacing. Now that I will agree on. I had the honour of a small jog on it just before the Millwall game, my sons team, of which I'm a coach, where taking part in the fly the flag just before kick off, it was, as you said like a carpet, and it was so smooth even I could make a straight pass on it
StanSP Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 Will definitely miss him but I hope his replacement is just as good, if not better. The pitch has always been praised by fans, players, commentators, pundits etc etc and that's in no small part down to Ed Mowe and his team. Thank you, Mr Mowe! For your name and your work!
Kitchandro Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 I think his one regret will be being robbed of the groundsman of the year title in 2011-12. In all seriousness though, our pitch is quality. It's one thing you can't knock about us. Great stuff Mowey, good luck.
dynamark Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 One man went to mow went to mow a meadow one man two men three and his dog went to mow a meadow. One for the older folk
Steven Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 I heard he's a top notch Dutch groundsman called Kut De Gras Do you realise what "kut" means in Dutch? :xmasunsure:
