I originally didn't like him. I'm starting to become very fond of him.

He seems very level headed and his experience will be key this season.

What's everyone's else thoughts on him?

He is fantastic, simple fact...

Brilliant. Never understood the stick he gets from some supporters

Indeed, here is a player who has played at a top PL and European level. I wouldn't trade him for any left back in this division...

Stuck up for him many a time when BNET was absolutely slating him saying "he was shit, and always has been" .....decent full back at this level

Decent - we have wanted him out as he was one of the high earners, but it was always better to get rid of Danns, Wellens, Gallagher, Mills, Beckford etc etc Wycombe first.

I think that others have been targeted to go before him shows his quality.

Done a decent job 95% of the time.

He's decent at this level, the only problem is that his passing can be poor at times and he's a bit slow, but generally he's done a good job.

Adds heaps of experience to the team/squad. Technically not the best but great positioning and defending. Not convinced he could step back up to the prem though.

Experienced, and he's been quite consistent this season. Not one that you'll ever see not giving everything which for me he always does.

What he lacks in pace he makes up for positionally.

I only see games on TV but the only thing I seem to consistently notice is that his passing a lot of the time seems to miss its target or puts the receiver under a lot of pressure and they end up losing the ball.

Seems a solid enough player other than that though.

Very good player who gives 100% and has plenty of experience.

Links up with Dyer well on the left and doesn't get enough credit.

The only thing that stands against him is the fact he has never relocated to the area and has not hidden his desire to find a club in the south at times.

However he has knuckled back down and been a credit to himself since then, we'd have a problem if he got injured.

Solid performer, always gives you a 6 or 7 out of 10, like most our players he has his bad moments, but could we really do much better at this level?

Ok he may not cut it in the premiership any more, but let's worry about that if/when we get there.

Glad he never moved to qpr, because i don't think we would have had the funds to bring anyone in.

Thought he was excellent on Saturday, against a much faster winger who would cause many left full backs in this division problems.

Hes average championship player. Premiership player your havin a laugh

Yet he's played most of his career in the premiership for numerous clubs.

Good solid player who is far more than adequate for this division. Brings a great deal of experience to the squad too. The fact he has improved since arriving shows his professionalism to do a job for the club.

Agreed, the one thing we all want as Leicester fans is effort/ commitment. You can't question the man on that. The stick he has recieved is a joke, the experimce he brings is also invaluable, been there and done it.
