Rasmic123 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Great to get 4 points clear right before the Millwall game, means we'll still be top after we get beat! UTF!!!
EnglishOxide Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Their big centre back was lucky Vardy didnt knock him out. Hes a foot shorter but takes on everyone. Loved it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 For a bloke that some would have ditched and far too many have berated Dyer's been mighty influential this year and five goals in 10 is no mean feat for a centre-forward never mind a winger with "no end product". What a perfect response to the missed penalty and what a remarkable return from the Christmas period. Today's game was a thriller few could have dreamed of but no-one should be assuming we'll go up just because we've put ourselves in such a great position. The next 100% commitment will be due at Millwall and it's as easy to get beaten there as it is at Sheffield Wednesday so while the today is one to rejoice over let's not get ahead of ourselves and start counting it as anything other than three more important points. Yes, I'd far rather be four points ahead of the chasing pack than in any other position but the job's a long way off finished yet. The criticism of some players on this forum is founded. The criticism of Lloyd Dyer isnt and really has never been.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 That was some roller coaster! Some great play today, some shocking defending as well! Loving Lloydy so badly right now
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Excellent result and fine goals. A missed penalty and some awful defending, which needs to be sorted. Next two games are key. I will be at Millwall, and hope to see us playing attacking football. Then it's Derby, and they will be up for it, but so shall we. Come on City.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Bad luck Nuge but kind of glad you missed it in the end and I still love you, just for the leaked nude selfie that found its way onto the net (big boy aren't ya?) which then found itself being printed onto a human size cutout which then found itself in my room as some of you all know. And even though his face is peeling off around the mouth area due to sogginess I still sometimes think it's the real him when I've been drinking. Me and Nuge are going to celebrate tonight, with a little dance and a dominoes in bed. I live for Nuge x
cityfanlee23 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Not today. He wasn't very good. If that's me saying it, you know it's true. Eurgh, fair enough.... I won't say anymore in sure I don't need too! Take the win though won't we! happy new year!!
Father Ted Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Absolutely incredible game! LLOYD ****ING BALEEEEEEEEEE If Lloyd Dyer scored that goal whilst playing for a Premiership side against a Premiership team, Alan Hansen would be calling for Lloyd to be on the plane to Brazil. Goal number 8 of the season for Lloyd, incredible. Can we get a Lloyd Dyer emoticon (like the Pearson one)
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 WOW, what a game! unbelievable match, 4 Points clear at the top of the championship, happy days

MC Prussian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Just keep winning liecester I suppose that's a spelling mistake.
leicesterisme Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Huge win, what a game. Showed an awful lot of character today! Delight with the three points and going four points clear. I am still concerned about our defence though conceding too many goals at the moment.Great game for the neutral. Prior to today we have conceded 1 goal in the last 3 league games?
Webbo Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Well, you don't see many 5_3s . The way we started I felt we could score 5 or 6 I just didn't think we'd concede 3. Totally dominated, really not sure how they scored.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Just keep on winning Liecester Shouldn't you be on the Preston forum. Sad act.
Matt Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Amazing. Can't fault any player today, defensive play was quite frustrating, but then again so was theirs, but as a team we played magnificantly, really enjoyed it. Was fuming with Nugent when he took the peno though thank fuck we pushed on and got the win though! It's been a great day and a pretty good year really, with many highs and lows. Let's just hope and wish for another 3 points against Millwall now!
Beliall Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 great feeling to be clear at the top for the new year. fantastic result, at 2-1 down I was thinking old leicester gonna fvck it up but what a game in the end. awful defending yes but it appears pearson addressed that at ht. glad gtf got a goal too. tidy finish. hell be good for us.
Finnaldo Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Just keep winning liecester I'm not sure if that's a jab at us or just a mistake.
Zingari Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 PEARSON OUT !! letting in three goals at home is disgraceful !! If i had a season ticket i'd rip it up and throw it in his face
Tom17LCFC Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Just keep winning liecester At least Blackburn are doing wel... Oh wait...
Tielemans63 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Have to hand it to Jamie Vardy. I've never been overly critical but at the same time I doubted his ability to make an impact at this level. I've definitely been proven wrong - the guy is an absolute pest (in the most positive sense!) and never gives his marker a second's rest. Defenders look like they hate playing against him which is a great thing, he reminds me a bit of Paul Dickov in that respect. Credit to Nige to for seeing his potential and sticking with him when a few were suggesting he'd be better suited to League 2.

And once again i'll hold my hands up happily and admit to being very wrong after suggesting he'd be better suited to League 1. Very happy to say that i'm wrong.
