THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 You could all jizz on my boat race and I couldn't be happier
Loggy88 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Looking good we have a bit more character and steel this season and that is a good win after being behind twice. Dyer is playing superbly this season, pleased GTF got a goal too.
Leicesterpool Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 League is for us to lose now! Come on lads lets make it our year!
The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 No Clean Sheet!!!!! Pearson out!!!! :xmasangry: :xmasangry: :xmasangry: :xmasangry:
sdb Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Had a horrid feeling about this game - get in!! Must continue it at Millwall though - too often we drop points against the lowly teams.
Foxymcoxy Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 So we are at 48 points half way through the season. Last year we got 68 points by the end and 79 won automatic promotion. Different season and god knows we're capable of ****ing it up but those are very favourable numbers for us.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Delight with the three points and going four points clear. I am still concerned about our defence though conceding too many goals at the moment. Great game for the neutral.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 5-3 is better than 2-0 anyway as far as the league table is concerned.
justfoxes Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 What a superb display Dyers goal awesome !! Nuge missing another penalty does he need to be rested but with Vardy suspended can we afford to rest him ?? Top of the league going into 2014 well done lads it's looking promising !!
Haydos Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 When we missed the penalty I thought it was going to be one of those days but we hit straight back. Still, one game at a time though, although this is getting exciting.
BoneDog Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 would you **** off Sam Bailey To be fair she talked more sense than many of the callers do.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Ofcourse we had to have a call about Nugent
wattolcfc Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I am a bit of a doom and gloom merchant a lot of the time when it comes to city but how the **** could I moan when we are top of the league! Dyer, that lad is on FIRE! I'm actually starting to believe... Which is dangerous! BLUE ARMYYYYYYYYY!
Guest shearfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Dyer would be a top premier league player if he was more consistent in front of goal... Today what a finish...
indierich06 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Anyone got a link to the goals? SSN or something?
Harry - LCFC Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Spent much of the first half quite angry. Worth it.
kingfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Just got back. Just one of those rare freak games, first 10 minutes was some of the best football I have seen our side play at the King Power, then it all went to pot, every time Bolton went forward they looked like scoring, poor defending. Then of course we got back into it, terrific assist by Dyer to set up Knockaert, then they scored again. Second half though, was absolute quality, we bossed them off the park, and we showed great resilience after missing the penalty, that was probably the most important thing about that performance. Lloyd Dyer's goal will go down as one of my favourites at the KP, what a run and finish, absolute scenes. Then Taylor-Fletcher finished it off, I said to the guys around me he would score the winner in the 89th minute, not quite the winner, but I was right in one way. Never celebrated so much at a Football Match, so much so I pulled my back after GTF's goal, and it absolutely kills, but I don't care. Honorable mentions to Matty James who I thought was excellent, especially second half, won a lot of balls, so calm on the ball, just an all round great midfielder. Also Jamie Vardy I have to say that is one of the best performances I have seen by a striker at the KP, without scoring, he was fookin excellent. I feel high. Top Of The League, It Can't Get Any Better Than That
cityfanlee23 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Well I landed safely and not in a ball of flames to this news!! Great result in the end (was 3-3 when I took off) so we made hard work of it again.... I won't make this a nugent thread but I landed to about 4 texts saying "David nugent is absolutely shit" did he have ANOTHER bad game? Because if he did this is it get him sold the excuses have to stop... Or an I being wound up?
Monsell1976 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 What a game, that game we saw every leicester side, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and then the amazing. Glad to see their heads didn't drop, and battled for each other, not the prettiest of performances, but I think that was the best team performance of the season, never gave up. Keep working like that, and we might be on to a winner.

Because if he did this is it get him sold the excuses have to stop... Or an I being wound up? Not today. He wasn't very good. If that's me saying it, you know it's true.
Thracian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 For a bloke that some would have ditched and far too many have berated Dyer's been mighty influential this year and five goals in 10 is no mean feat for a centre-forward never mind a winger with "no end product". What a perfect response to the missed penalty and what a remarkable return from the Christmas period. Today's game was a thriller few could have dreamed of but no-one should be assuming we'll go up just because we've put ourselves in such a great position. The next 100% commitment will be due at Millwall and it's as easy to get beaten there as it is at Sheffield Wednesday so while the today is one to rejoice over let's not get ahead of ourselves and start counting it as anything other than three more important points. Yes, I'd far rather be four points ahead of the chasing pack than in any other position but the job's a long way off finished yet.
Tom17LCFC Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 BUZZING!!! All about that, love games like that, the frustration all building up, desperate to get one over on Beckford and Mills, Nuge missing a pen... ... and then Lloydy boy bombing down the left and smashing home!!! amazing.
