dynamark Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Touch of the Nigellas there! Now she would be welcome. I have to say Knocky had a good all round game and James again seems to have realised since man city he can play a bit. Early on they played around the man dropping of the front line very effectively and we didn't pick that up.Bit of a concern but the replay should address that. Good effort all round
Bluetintedspecs Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Fantastic game, thoroughly enjoyed it apart from some school boy defending, that aside we dominated and scored some good goals. The pace at which we break is breathtaking at times. James and Drinky were excellent, Lloydy special goal (quality and timing after pen miss) superb performance again! However my MOTM today was Vardy an amazing CF performance against some brutes and he ran them fookin ragged, quality!
Kitchandro Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Hallelujah, Mills og: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25482225 Up yours Matt. Up yours.
ithuriel Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 What with the twilight Reading game and now this goal fest this has been a decent Xmas for going down to watch the footy, though expensive.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Was at work so missed this one but well done City. Really pleased we won again, long May it continue
Leicester Lass Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Hallelujah, Mills og: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25482225 Up yours Matt. Up yours. On the score summary they have it as Mills OG but in the text they say 'Ream put into his own net.' Sky also have it down as Ream.

Tom17LCFC Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Best not be Ream who touched it, I was absolutely buzzing in the thought that it was Mills who deflected it home. So satisfying.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Haha. He's a nob. Does anyone else notice that Drinkwater is always reluctant to pass to Knocky? Yes, been thinking that for a few weeks to be honest. I noticed this during the Reading game.
Corky Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Fantastic entertainment, thrilling match, some awful defending from us, superb attacking and Dyer's frightening pace and finish. Delighted to notch a third win over the week, five goals at home but the defence was culpable several times for standing off and letting them shoot, Beckford's goal especially was dreadful marking. However, going forward we looked great, first 10 minutes we played some very neat football, after that it was frenetic, thankfully the second half was calmer until the final 15 minutes when Nugent took a very poor penalty, Dyer scored a thrilling goal and GTF slotted in the clincher. Brilliant to go into the New Year top of the table, with a cushion now, and plenty of fight shown to come back from conceding soft goals. It certainly isn't dull mid-table stuff that's for sure. Halfway through what could be a very memorable season, just keep it going
21st Century Fox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 First home game in bloody ages I've managed to get to and what a game it was. I forgot what a slog it is driving up and back from 'dan saff' but that was worth every cramp inducing hour. Their goals were soft and our defending was seriously sloppy at times but it was fantastic to see us fight back like that. I was sat in front of the Belgians which probably masked some of the lulls in atmosphere I'd forgotten about. I couldn't stop laughing at the end when Beckford was getting the "What's the score?" chant and then he got the ball to shoot and in that split second pause some women screamed
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Update when you're winning, you only update when you're winning... http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/10902950.MATCHDAY_LIVE__Leicester_City_v_Wanderers/
shade Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Neither, it's cause Gally will probably get a hefty promotion bonus if we go up. nah can't be that, I don't care what my family members earn.
sphericalfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 You'll all be happy to know i made it home safely :xmastongue: Also I managed to get access on my phone for the final 15mins on the plane as I was delayed! What a fookin whopper! Go on Dyer you beauty!
kingfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 My missus loves that, as does Kingfox whilst his arse is getting slapped I'm honoured that you've been thinking of me
lcfc will Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Thought Bolton actually played very well today, they seemed a very intelligent team on the counter attack and we only started to nullify them when they had a change of shape and pushed Moritz out wide and then took him off (no idea why). They will finish mid-table imo. Pains me to say it but thought Beckford played very well today, ran in behind Wes and Liam and created space for Moritz to play in, and also scored a well-taken goal himself. Matt Mills still looks like a complete donkey, glad he's playing against not for us. The defence was shakey in the first-half but Pearson sorted them out at half-time, and they were fine. Was impressed with the quantity of chances we created today as well, and took them well too. Overall, an incredibly exciting match and a satisfying victory taking us to the top of the league!!
21st Century Fox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Thinking back, it was pretty frustrating how often when there was a ball in the air in our own half, we'd just head it back to them even when there was sufficient time and space to take it down and control it. We must've gifted possession about 20 times in that way. However it obviously doesn't detract from a superb win and a great show of spirit and confidence.
Captain... Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted in the Vardy suspension thread too. Granted it's only a still shot so is always going to look worse than it was, but I'm not sure why this is only a yellow. Because of Vardy reacting like a man and not making a big deal out of it, if he had gone down clutching his face he would have been off. What a match and what a performance. Still perplexed with how we conceded 3 goals in the 1st half, that was the only time when Bolton were dangerous. But we were the better team throughout and credit to our players for keeping their heads up and showing the determination we needed to win the game. Dyer played one of his best games in a Leicester shirt and I've criticised him in the past for playing poor final balls and not being able to hit the target but today, he showed his true quality. Lovely cross for Knockaert's headed goal and scoring from a brilliant run, I'm very pleased for him. Bolton were very lucky to have finished the game with 11 men, Knight should have been sent off for grabbing Vardy's neck but only got a yellow. And I thought Lonergan should have been off as well for fouling Vardy and denying him a goalscoring opportunity but didn't even get booked! We won nevertheless and are sitting pretty at the top of the league. Not getting carried away but fingers crossed that 2014 will be a year for us to enjoy and remember! No way was the keeper a red, Vardy was going nowhere other out of play was never a goal scoring opportunity.
Bert Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 nah can't be that, I don't care what my family members earn. You would do if they was on what Gally is

I was in the Kop and it was clear the Bolton player should have gone... complete utter cvnt. In fact throughout the game all Bolton did was try to stop us play with petty little fouls terrible team... All Vardy did was brush him off and he got a yellow!

All Vardy did was brush him off and he got a yellow!I didn't see who started it, but I thought it was Vardy initially reacting to the big lump, loved the fact they were going at each other and the ball just hit the back of Knight, and play still carried on, would have loved it if the ball had bounced kindly and Vardy just scampered off to score. Also can you believe he has 2 England caps?!?!??!
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 From what I could make out Zat Knight stood on the back of Vardy's heel to which Vardy spun round and pushed Knight. Then they squared up to each other and ZK was the one who raised his hands. Could've easily been a red. As for the GK one. Did he end up booking him? It was never a red but he had his cards out but I never saw him show one to the keeper
