Keane was good for us last season, but he had the ability to be bullied by opposing teams. That might have been harsh on a kid in a team who went on a horrible run towards the end of the season compared to a team who is now absolutely flying but i'm glad he's not with us this season.

So did Moore last season. Remember Wolves away? They're both young and improving. I'd be happy for Keane to come here, as we are short on numbers. He's a good player

Yeah Moore was dog muck against Charlton and Wolves and was taken out of the limelight, rightly so. He's come on leaps and bounds this year and i've been surprised at how good he's become. I've watched Keane twice this season for Derby and we tore him 4 new arseholes against us and the other game I saw, he nutmegged himself and nearly scored an own goal. He's better than that but as he's not our player you're risking a young kid learning his trade only for him to bugger off back to his parent club. We don't need to do that again with him given the position we're in. I'd much rather have Wasyl step in as and when.

My friend has a season ticket at Derby and said he's been very good. He can't believe Keane lost his place.

It's all opinions.

I never said Keane is the answer. I said we are short on numbers, and that he'd be a good squad player.

From the times I've personally seen both play, I'd say Keane is a superior player to Wasileski.

No he was average. As average as Moore and Morgan were against Bolton. One bad game doesn't make a bad player.

Throughout his time here last season, I thought Keane was very good. Considering we tried to sign him again for this season, looks like Pearson did too.

I'd be happy to see him come back. We are short on numbers and he'd provide good competition and cover.

I'm baffled as to how you can slander Wasyl's positional play but rate Michael Keane as infinitely better. I always thought he looked steady in possession but other than that I barely saw what all the fuss was about and was nonplussed when it emerged he'd not be coming back to us. Got caught square on and flat footed more times than I care to remember and had nowhere near the presence you'd expect from one of your centre backs.

Right now, Wasilewski is the better player by some distance, for me. At centre half he's always been steady and at the moment we can't afford to play other side's youth on the premise that they might be good at some point in their future.

To slander means to make a false and malicious remark- I said Wasilewski worries me as he dives in quite a lot. I don't think this is a false remark? I also said in the player ratings thread that I thought he played pretty well on Saturday. I merely said we're short on numbers with Moore's injury and that Keane would be a good addition.

I thought Keane was very good last season. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him back here.

Surely a more experienced player like was, who has played in many European and international games, will be more reliable than keane? Considering his age, I thought keane played well enough last season, but I'd still rather was with Morgan this year.

Fair enough man, agree to disagree on Keane, personally rather steer clear.

We're all friends here.

From a team-mates Twitter account on the day of the game.

I would be wary of jumping to conclusions, as it hasn't come directly from Keane but from someone else, I could say that I know Keane personally and claim he said that he loved Leicester and thought it was so much nicer than Manchester. Doesn't make it true. Could have been someone on the wind up.

Fans were loving Wasilewski not so long ago, he did well at the weekend, and is good enough to start at centre back, his most recent 3-4 appearances have seen him play right-back, where he has been poor, but at centre back I don't recall a particularity bad game by him, when played in that position.

You say we are short on numbers but Moore is only out for a month. There isn't any space on the bench as it is, with people good enough to be on the bench missing out each week. Give our squad who are already committed to the cause a chance before writing them off. Not saying Keane is better or worse but we don't need to bring someone in for such a short amount of time, it would make players wonder about their place in the club and bring someone in who isn't really a part of what Pearson is building. If he has a shocker every week for the period Moore is out, Miguel will be given a chance, if he isn't up to it then Moore will be back but you have to have a decent run in the side before you can be written off as not good enough.

We have a squad of what, 20? I don't think that's enough. You have to consider injuries (we've been lucky so far), suspensions (same) loss of form (same).

I thought we were a little short even before Moore was injured.

I think Pearson will bring another couple in before Friday.

But how many of them spaces are filled up by defenders? At the weekend it was 1, same as the Leeds game.

Was has been very solid when he has been called upon. Im sure most people posting their opinions on this forum dont actually go to the kp!!

As for keane, apart from a couple of good performances for us last season he is bang average and seems very light weight (something was cannot be found guilty of) and also I hold keane partly responsible for our collapse in form second part of last season.

I would not want keane anywhere near our squad!!

I go to all home games and 75% of away.

No real problem with Wasilewski, although I do think he's a walking red card and also think he dives in too easily and gets too close to the player he's marking.

I also think Keane was very good last season, and that he's a better player than Wasilewski. I'd love to see him here again to boost our numbers and provide more competition.

We have a small squad, and I think we will bring a couple in before the week is over.

Maybe I'm wrong. But they're my opinions.

Well i do respect your opinion kind sir...i just dont agree with it.

So, Wasilewksi doesn't dive in? We don't have a small squad?

Squads pretty big isn't it, we're dropping at least two senior players each week, we've got enough to field two XI's and players out on loan we can recall. Liam's injured and we've got two people who can come in a do a job for a couple of weeks :dunno:
