80footgiraffe Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I know it's a bit farfetched, but who would you realistically sign to survive the prem? Just a bit of funI'd go for : Patrick Bamford- Chelsea Jean Beausejour- Wigan Mustapha Carayol- Middlesborough Gabriel Obertan- Newcastle Kazenga LuaLua- Brighton Hal Robson-Kanu- Reading Elliot Bennett- Norwich Guy Demel- West Ham Jos Hooiveld- Southampton
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'd like us to get Patience and Realism. And Pearson on a two year deal
Foxymcoxy Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Don't want as many average players as that. Anyone that comes in needs to have genuine quality or we are best off sticking with our young side.
undey Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Realistically aren't they all championship standard players.. no better than what we've already got. Would you take carayol over dyer? Bennett over morgan?
TJB-fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Some of the players youve named are absolutely gash! Wayyyy too early for these types of threads
Beliall Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 too early, and anyway theres probably a few players already lined up behind the scenes in case we go up. and i doubt we'll have heard of most
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I hear that Beckford lad doesn't feel pressure......oh wait.
sdb Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Too early, but I certainly wouldn't want a squad overhaul. 5-6 max for me.
foxfanazer Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Would quite like Mark Noble. Maybe Anthony Pilkington too
Bluearmy 316 Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 The spine of the team would need to be improved if we went up Schwarzer if kasper leaves caulker if Cardiff go down mark noble if west ham go down and a top striker and we would be alright. Plus cresswell from Ipswich to give konch competition
Guest Bilo Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 IF we do go up I don't see Pearson bringing in an army of players. He's always been a quality over quantity sort of a bloke, a transfer policy that's built up a side that sits eight points clear at the top of the Championship, and I don't see that changing too much. Of the teams currently in the Premier League relegation mix up, I could see Pearson looking at the likes of Whittingham at Cardiff and Adam Johnson at Sunderland.
Kitchandro Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm trying to be polite but there's only so many of these premature threads I can take. So FVCK OFF. It's every fvcking week with this shit.
Unabomber Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm trying to be polite but there's only so many of these premature threads I can take. So FVCK OFF. It's every fvcking week with this shit. You're so angry nowadays.
David Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 way to early to even know, but I would like us to continue buying players that are early 20s, been at Premiership clubs, with a point to prove....like James, Drinkwater, Kasper and RDL. We don't need big egos and I really don't want us to be bringing in anymore foreigners.
foxfanazer Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Could just not read them? Just a thought...........
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I'm trying to be polite but there's only so many of these premature threads I can take. So FVCK OFF. It's every fvcking week with this shit. I have to agree with this. Just how many times is this thread going to come on here?
Fox92 Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Ronaldo, Schweinsteiger, Rooney. I don't know! Can we just get there first? We have so many threads about promotion and signing players, we're only in January. Hell of a long way to go yet.
Libertine Dream Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 6 of them could easily be considered wide players, nice balanced squad
RonnieTodger Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I know it's a bit farfetched, but who would you realistically sign to survive the prem? The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Why the **** would you want Gabriel Obertan? lol
