"Blue nose *******s. I don't see why our new found rivalry won't continue even if Lesta go up and we stay down. We will wave at the end of next season when we get promoted and you get relegated. I look forward to the odd cup tie when we get to play you again, you can be sure of a tasty atmosphere for them. Nigel Pearson is the biggest **** in all of football, he's a *******. All you blue nose Lesta *******s think you're the best but you're not YOU JUST GET THE BREAKS BECAUSE OF MANISH AND CONNING DIVING SCUMMER TONY KNOCKFART."

Apparently Manish is the secret for our success lol

Sorry, I'll stop now I promise lol

Just one more thing, they think that all our pens are down to knocky diving .......lol

Every club/forum has their idiots (ours included) but for every idiot there are 2 or 3 sensible well reasoned posters.

At least Rookeryhorn gives detail and balance to his argument.

"I don't see why it was such a bad statement to make. As a club, I'd say we have better players at our disposal and Leicester, as a club, are playing better as a team. I can understand that because they are higher than us in the table people may see it as them having better players but that is not always the case. As UORNS has said their starting line-up last night wasn't anything to write home about. Schmeichel is a good keeper but had a tendancy to switch off at times in the past. Nugent likes a goal against us. Putting any other of their starting 11 in our team, in my opinion, would not improve it because as soon as you take them out of that Leicester team you have a player again."

Sorry, I just can't help myself lol lol lol lol lol

You have to remember that players like Morgan and Dyer have been in around the football league for the majority of their career and have not achieved an awful lot, They've had Danny Drinkwater on loan and wasn't exactly very good for them, James and De Laet don't really get the recognition they deserve in the media, Konchesky is quite correctly seen as not as good as he used to be and Vardy was crap last season and has scored less than Deeney or Nugent....and they have a former Champions League Keeper in goal

He's fundamentally wrong but you can see what the opinion is based on.

It's astounding that they can idolise a man like Billy Davies yet consider Nigel Pearson "the biggest **** in all of football".  The only possible reason I can imagine for someone thinking that is if he's made a success of a rival team you strongly care ab... no that's silly.

Ignorance?

Partially, he isn't going to have the most informed opinion in the world is he he doesn't watch us every week, and to be honest if you have a load of players who have done little in the careers thrown together and all of a sudden start to perform it wouldn't be the worst assumption to make in the world that the manager is getting the best out of them. And to be fair he is right in that regard, we do perform much better than the sum of our parts, if you of told me we'd be 8 points clear at the top of the league and 11 clear of 2nd at the end of January at the start of the season with our team, I'd of pissed myself, as would most people.

He's probably got an over inflated opinion of his own team as well, and is struggling with the reality that without Chalobah or Vydra they really aren't that good.

So Watford are in a better position for the future because they're gonna have their own train station in 3 years. Hmm.

That made me laugh lol

If some of them do think only 3/4 of our players could get into their team then they just haven't watched enough of us, funny thing was he didn't even mention Vardy, Drinkwater or James in those 3/4 and they would be walking into any team in this division on this seasons form.

Yeah I know. I was trying to be pithy.

All football fans are as bad as each other in that regard, I'm sure we were saying similar things about Cardiff last year.

They must think nige is the best manager in the world if he's capable of making a bunch of average players who are not fit to grace the hallowed turf of vicarage road into a team that is currently dominating the league

Pearson for England manager!!

Filbert is a strange one on there. He seems almost embarrassed by our success because it's showing Watford up.

Couldnt give a shit about Watford

Neither could I in the main but it has to be acknowledged just how deluded and embarrassing a fair number of their fans are. It really is astonishing.

When people come out with this sort of tripe it's nice to throw it back in their face.

why do they love Deeneys goal so much? fair play it was an unreal moment of complete fantasy but ****s sake surely there are other things that stand out more in their recent history. who got them promoted in 2006 or whatever it was?

i have no real feelings about Watford. i am nonplussed. they mean nothing to me

All this bullying of the Watford fans, leave it out please chaps. If you're going to pick on some other set of fans at least make it a club our own size. This is like the big strong, naturally talented lad at school picking on the weedy, nerdy, putrid and ill-looking little shite whose only defense is to say his dirty Italian uncle could beat up your dad.

Unlike Watford, who have a load of players who have never done anything in their careers, and aren't performing well as a team either.

sorry, can somebody explain why Watford view us as rivals? and why we are even discussing these nobodies? can't they hate another tinpot, boring club near them like Reading rather than make up rivalries that don't exist with real clubs like us? I have no feelings about Watford other than they were horrible under Aidy Boothroyd.

Because they don't have any actual rivalries of their own.

Do not know why peeps are obsessing over Watford, they are a decent little London club and if we can get three more points from them then it will be, "thanks for all the fish," and leave them behind.

Don't even go there.

That was once sang at Vicarage rd about a city manager and we were not even playing.

Not long after it was sang we went top of the prem and Peter Taylor got his one game in charge.

Then our season went down the pan big time.

Man U fans sang it in a league/what ever cup you want to call it game.

How do I know that you may ask and why did they do it.

I was sat/stood in the middle of them is how I know.

The reason they sang it was to take the piss out off me.

AS I was stood proud wearing my city shirt for all to see slap bang in the middle of a full away end.

Yes before you ask I am fvcking mad.

QPR and Forest trying to buy their way into the PL does not surprise me as much as teams like Bournemouth, Millwall and Huddersfield splashing the cash this season.

Bournemouth signed that South Africa striker Rantie for £2.5 million and they got barely 7,000 at Dean Court on Tuesday night. They also managed to hold on to Grabban because they uppsed his wages to a level Brighton could not match. Brighton get 20,000-plus crowds every game to Bournemouth's 8,000 average. Elliott Ward and Ian Harte also signed on frees for the Cherries - they won't have gone there for peanuts.

How does FFP work there?
