Buzzell Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 All the best to the lad. Hope he gets good game time at Wigan, would benefit him and us.
Mark_w Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Three games, one goal, two assists. Shit as always.
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Three games, one goal, two assists. Shit as always. That's a first. . You praising Waghorn.
Guest MattP Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 It's amazing the form levels players can reach again when they might be needing a new contract soon.
Unabomber Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 This lad just keeps getting better and better, we should stick in a cheeky bid. I say cheeky, I mean monstrously over the top.
Mark_w Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 It's amazing the form levels players can reach again when they might be needing a new contract soon. actually start playing football again.
GingerrrFox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Along with Mark I've been one of the biggest backers of Waghorn on this forum and it comes as no surprise to me that he's playing well after a run of games at Wigan.
Guest MattP Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Maybe he's made more of an effort to get fit? The two times in his career he had shown serious form have been the two times he's been ready for a new deal and move somewhere. Pull me up next year if I'm wrong but I'm predicted a decent run of form now until the end of the year, a decent move somewhere, and then we'll hear very little of him next season.

Munshi Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Looks like he's actually doing pretty well and I'm happy for him. His corners look so dangerous aswell, is that 4 assists so far? He seems happy there and I think it'd be good for everyone if he stays there. Always liked you Waggy.
XLM Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Good. His current form will add a bit of value when we ship him off in the summer.
Mark_w Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Good. His current form will add a bit of value when we ship him off in the summer. For free, when his contract runs out?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I'm pleased for him if Waggy is doing well. Wholehearted player who I always felt did his best (or at least tried) for Leicester
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 I've got to agree, no one cares, you've only got to look at our score sheet today to understand why that's the case.
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Personally hope he plays every game for them. He can't play against us so will unbalance the team. And if wigan have to play Burnley the sheep and Qpr I hope he scores in everyone and gets about 6 or 8 assists. Good look with a new club in the summer Waggy.
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2014 Author Posted 23 February 2014 We won't even get any compensation for him the useless bastard, oh well with £120m from promotion that will help!
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 I like Martyn Waghorn, for the reasons I gave in my second post in this thread. When any of the other players give me a reason to care about them, and face constant criticism from idiots, I will make it my mission to defend them against aforementioned criticism. And when I'm proved right I'll gloat, because I'm a dick. Do you actually think making a big deal out of him getting an assist for a team outside the play offs "proves you right", do you think this is gloating , your making yourself look extremly stupid Nugent, Vardy, and Wood have all scored today , today has highlighted exactly why we don't need him if anything. Beckfords got a similar appearance record to him this season and has scored quite a few more goals. I will agree some people go over the top when criticizing players but it's becoming evidently clear when it comes to Martyn Waghorn who the biggest idiot on this forum is. Looking forward to the summer when I can wish him the best in his future career desperately chasing double figures for the season in the second tier of English football. Perhaps if you ask Mark nicely he might setup Waghorntalk.co.uk for you when he leaves so you can carry on posting your pearls of wisdom.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Mark w.... I've said it before buddy, your infatuation with Waggy borders on the extreme. To be honest, on a day when all three of our strikers scored, I don't imagine anyone is really bothered whether Waghorn made an assist. Are they?

To be honest, on a day when all three of our strikers scored, I don't imagine anyone is really bothered whether Waghorn made an assist. Are they? I am, he is still a Leicester player, and I like to know how they are getting on when they are out on loan, this also goes for Danns, Whitbread, Gallagher, Blyth, Sesay and anyone else we have on loan.
MGLCFC Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Waghorn is only a Leicester player for another 3 months, then he'll be a free agent. In essence he'll never play for Leicester again. I hope he keeps scoring and assisting for Wigan against our rivals, but apart from that, I'm not too bothered about his progression or regression as a footballer.
