Waghorn Set For Wigan Loan

Recommended Posts

I don't understand some of the comments in here.

Let's face it he will never play for Leicester again so the way I see it, the more goals he scores and assists he gets the better.

It means more teams will be interested in him, and even though he'll be leaving for free, it's better for him.

Granted he didn't do well here bit I still hope he has a successful career elsewhere.

Too many people are bitter and if a player isn't in a Leicetser shirt anymore then we must hate them.

I for one will applaud him IF he ever played against us rather than be a 'boo boy'

Mark you're a good poster but your infatuation is strange considering he'll never play for us again and people will continue to knock him.

Obviously he has ability but he's never been good enough since his loan, we have better strikers now so Waghorn is irrelevant.

Oi.. leave Mark alone.. lol

He's pretty much right about Waghorn and was right about Pearson too.

And why should any of those things stop me liking him?

I disagree that he's never been good enough since his loan though, he was very very good in the run of about ten games before he had his appendix out last year.

You reckon?! You're a very generous man!

You dare to argue with the BBC?! :o

In all fairness, if that was fantasy premier league he'd have got an assist! lol

Surely the lower case I is a bigger concern if you're going to be picky?

I didn't want to be too picky.

I like how you noticed some punctuation mistakes as well though.

Does it have to be one or the other then? He's not worthy of either

If Waghorn destroys all our promotion rival teams like he did on Saturday then good on him. I'm happy for him to continue doing that. It helps us out no end as I can't see Wigan getting anywhere near us.

To the fans giving him hate, he needs to move on from us and we need to cut the shit out and let him get on with it. He was never unprofessional a bad egg for us even if he did have some dodgy performances. He dosn't deserve being booed or anything like that. Surely it would be best to wish him luck and go our separate ways.

No not at all.

Everyone is entitled to do either or neither.

But sadly you get a lot of sheep who will hear a few boo's and follow for no reason.

I'll applaud him for what he did when on loan here he had a great season and because of that earned a contract. It's just after that he never cut the mustard. But he hasn't done anything to dislike him.

It's similar to Chris Powell on Saturday, I thought it was a nice touch that we gave him a good reception after the game.

Waggy has never had his attitude or application questioned. NP has always spoken highly of him, however, he has been happy to let him go out on loan which is testimony to both his management skills and the strength of quality in our squad. Personally I harbour no bad feelings towards Waggy. If he moves on I wish him all the best for the future.

I'd never boo Waghorn. Did alright for us, especially playing a part in our 09/10 season, but he just isn't good enough. That said, I wouldn't go out my way to clap him either.

If we're going to clap Michael Morrison off the pitch then Waghorn absolutely does deserve it.

Waggy is a plant.  The idea is to get Wigan reliant on his production.  Then, when he can't play against us and they can't score, we get the 3 points, see?  Another brilliant Pearson move!
