Get into HT ahead or level, maybe bring king on for vardy to pack the midfield and offer something going forward as well

The only resin I say king is that he has a good scoring record against forest I believe

They have all sorts of injuries so I say go for the throat in the first 20 minutes and hope we score.

I believe that Andy Reid has picked up his 5th yellow card does that mean a ban? And Lascelles has picked up his 8th in all comps too. I can't remember the rules but will one of them be banned for Wednesday?

Neither will be banned as it's 10 bookings for a two game ban . 5 was before the new year 31 dec I believe.

Forest playing there full hit at Sheffield utd hopefully our rest will show in the second half against the red dogs up the road...

We'll lose this 2-1, Cox and Henderson for them and Knocky for us (due a goal). Us losing this (imo) will prompt us to go on and finish the job. Hope im very wrong, just got a bad feeling!

Did anyone notice how today Forest struggled with the counter Sheffield United played. This would have been an good opportunity to have gone with three at the back and two wings backs, but sadly we're short on central defenders at the moment. Unless Liam is going to be back, which i'm not sure about? or even Miquel

So Team for the forest trip

GK: Kasper

RB: De Laet

CB: Morgan

CB: Wasilewski

LB: Konchesky

CM: Drinkwater

CM: James

RM: Knockeart

LM: Dyer

AT: Nugent

AT: Vardy

Bench: Logan, Schlupp, King, Hammond, Mahrez, Phillips & Wood.

Despite losing today to Sheffield United, i still think this is going to be a tough game!

It will be tough, we will need to be at our best to win, I think it will be a 1-1 draw

The great thing about Wednesday is that it is a massive, massive result if we win and no big deal if we lose, so long as we don't get tonked.

We've run into plenty of sides in good form this season and beaten them:

QPR hadn't lost at home until we played them.

Derby were flying (and in fact still are).

Boro were flying

Apart from their win over QPR (who had just lost to us) in December, Forest haven't really beaten anybody of note in this run. They got a creditable draw away at Reading, who at the time were 9th and in a sketchy run of form but apart from that all of their games have been against sides in mid-table (and Yeovil and Millwall).

Meanwhile we've gone 11 unbeaten including a draw with Burnley and wins over QPR, Reading and Derby.

By no means do I expect this to be an easy game, and I'd snap your hand off for a point, but yet again we're running into a side which has bullied the sides around it on an excellent run of form.

This is the best team we have. Apart from if i could id have liam in for was.

Just looked on a particular forest forum and they reckon their gonna do us and burst our bubble! Will be a tough game but if we play pacey, direct controlled football we will do em, they looked tired today

To catch a team on the counter they need to attack in the first place, if Forest set up like they did in the first game we won't get much of a chance to counter, against united they were expected to be on the front foot as favourites.

What a time for this to come around, its a game which if we win it is an absolutely monumental win, bragging rights. Yet if we lose, it doesn't matter. Cannot stand the arrogance of the Forest fans. Knockaert scores I'm on the pitch!

Kasper

RDL

Moore (if fit)

Morgan

Konchesky

Knockaert

James

Drinkwater

Lloyd

Nugent

Vardy

Would like to see Mahrez get a good run out, can see us drawing; late Phillips equaliser!

A win would be monumental. It'd put them out of reach. A loss could be psychologically significant for both.  I'd take a draw but think we're capable if we approach it right.
