adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Honestly I wouldn't use dyer until about 60 mins in because they will double up on him and he will do nothing in the game like in the last 2 he has been non existent, because teams have figured him out , start mahrez they don't know his game and he looks like a game changer , when dyer comes on with a full tank he will rip them to shreds
Paulmot Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Both teams have the perfect 5 Forest at home and us away so something must give. I think this is now a game Nigel will have targeted as a massive step towards the promised land. As it would be a big psychological blow to those around us to go 10 points clear of second and as it stands 11 clear of the Auto positions. I believe we will win 3-1 knocky 2 and RDL 1, think we will be 3 up before a late goal for the trees.
Happy Fox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 We have had the necessary rest, and preparation for this game, we should beat these c**ts it would be nice to hammer them but I will take a 2-0 win.
chili_con_carne Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 2-0 to forest unfortunately. We dominate the game but 2 late goals to kill us off.
Number 6 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 No need to change the team for me. I see 3 potential changes for consideration: -Moore for Was. I prefer Moore but don't think that this is the right game to rush him back for. -Mahrez for Dyer. Dyer has been off the boil but we really need his pace to counter imo. -Wood for Nuge. Least likely but Wood has looked energetic in his cameos. I'd like to see Wood get 20mins at them. I'm not feeling supremely confident but then I am a pessimistic so and so when it comes to football. This team has continued to impress me this season and hoping it continues. Prediction: 1-1. Vardy.
Gforce19 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Having seen Forest tonight against Sheffield Utd I now feel confident we can do the job on Wednesday, Vardy is gonna party hard against that defence
Leicesterpool Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Would anyone be tempted to try playing three upfront?
weller54 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Win this.. And we're as good as up!!!!!... Simples!
Gforce19 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Would anyone be tempted to try playing three upfront? Being realistic for a second even though we are currently on our most successful run in the clubs history and it is easy to get carried away ,we are away to Forest who apart from today's cup slip up are also in good form, we are the away team so will probably defend deep and counter attack through Knocky,Vardy,Dyer and Nugent, minimal changes and no way 3 up front.
Captain... Throwing Mahrez in at the deep end, arguably our toughest game left of the season, could either be inspired or destroy his confidence, ease him in and start him against Ipswich or Charlton at home. An away side at the KP are more likley to target Dyer and double up on him, so starting Mahrez could be more effective at home then bring on Dyer to run at them when they have spent 60 minutes of the game defending for their lives.
Stadt Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Would anyone be tempted to try playing three upfront? No, when ever we play 433 we lose.Forest will probably go with 442 and if we match them we have a great chance.

gerrytaggart Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Forest fans seem very confident about this game. Just talking to a forest fan i know and he told me we are very lucky to be top and that if forest had had our luck this season they would be 20 points clear at the top. I just smiled and politely agreed. Such a nice level headed bunch those red fellows....not a deluded chav amongst them.

I had a look around their forum and most of them are worried about their pile of injuries and would be happy with a point
Fox92 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 As I said last week, I'd take a point. I think a point would be decent going into the Ipswich game and providing we beat them, 4 points this week would be a good return. If we lose then Burnley and QPR haven't gained any real ground on us, but a win for us would be brilliant... It will be a tough game, really hope we win, gutted I missed last season's trip.

This is the perfect game for Dyer, Forest play a very narrow formation and his sheer presence will stretch there midfield, he could be the star of the show.
Happy Fox Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 This game still f**King riles me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbohcZlIovw However, our last trip to the Shitty Ground was pure bliss and hopefully a repeat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIWrnZ_EVq8
Babylon Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 I know we have some clowns, but Forest are by some distance the most deluded tools I've come across. Their forums are a good giggle.
ealingfox Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40076 Forest fans suggest complaining to the FA about the timing of the QF draw giving Sheff Utd an 'unfair advantage'. Christ on a bike.
deep blue Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 I see what you mean, but I wouldn't in this game, as the home team Forest should attack more and we can utilise Dyer's pace on the counter, Dyer has also had 10 days off so there will be no fitness/fatigue issues. It's tricky working out whether Dyer should start or be held back, as it's possible Forest could play a formation/style to stifle him. I noticed on the cup highlights last night that at the end of the game the forest defenders were getting completely done for speed by the Sheff U wingers. Maybe only because it was in the last few mins of the match and they were exhausted, but it gives us cause for optimism (and perhaps a pointer how to play them).
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Should be a good game, hoping for a 1-2 win. COYF!!!
MattyFromLE Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 0-0 until the last minute, Knockaert swings it in, Wes Morgan steps up - bullet header - carnage starts.
Happy Fox Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 A potential sell out at the Shitty Ground, 1,000 tickets left supposedly.
