Leicesterpool Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Another thing to remember we've already got a game on the Tuesday night of that week!
Walshy5 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Strange one this considering where wednesday are.
Bert Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I've heard that we're gonna be starting to cut away allocations anyway, just offer the 2,000
Callabinho Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Sky banking on us clinching promotion in one of these two games, both televised aren't they?
Maybes Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I've heard that we're gonna be starting to cut away allocations anyway, just offer the 2,000 Really? Can't see that happening. Wednesday will bring their usual 3k mob.
Dan Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Shite. Another ruined attendance. As if it's Platinum too
Dan Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Really? Can't see that happening. Wednesday will bring their usual 3k mob. At £32 on a Friday? Half that if they're lucky
Raj Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Next one will be city v qpr ??? Best not i ve booked a holiday to coincide with not missing that game...fooking sky!
XLM Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Still remember the Wednesday match the year we got relegated to League 1 - Hume missed penalty if my memory serves me correctly. Cracking atmosphere even though we lost.. They'll be fighting for survival this time round so it would have been decent again if not for Sky I reckon...
Dan Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Next one will be city v qpr ??? Best not i ve booked a holiday to coincide with not missing that game...fooking sky! 99% sure QPR will be on $ky
Monk Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Bugger, that means I have to take an extra day off work to get down from Edinburgh!
Craig Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Platinum!? Even QPR is gold! They were clearly praying on Sheff Weds selling out the end.
Monk Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 On a side note there is a very slim chance that we could clinch promotion at this fixture. We'd need to be 18 points ahead of 3rd, with 30 points available between now and then.
ScouseFox Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Surely no way will this stay full price platinum? Make it £15 or whatever that Bristol City Friday match was under Sven, we almost sold out for a meaningless game against a team who brought about 200 fans on a Friday.
Munshi Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Good prices for this would guarantee a sell out or near to one.
CosbehFox Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 This is disappointing Sheff Wednesday normally like to bring an big following to this normally, but since it's a night match i can only see them bringing half the allocation. Sad normally a cracking atmosphere against these, but can't beat a friday night thriller! Good. How many times do we have an away allocation outsing our support?
broughtonblue Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 Another days holiday used up because of sky!!!
CPW22 Posted 19 February 2014 Posted 19 February 2014 I don't mind Friday night games but don't agree with platinum games on a Friday. I doubt the club would change this from a platinum fixture, however if they did an offer such as cheaper tickets when purchased by a ST holder or something along the lines of that we could still get a good attendence for this despite the change.

I doubt the club would change this from a platinum fixture, however if they did an offer such as cheaper tickets when purchased by a ST holder or something along the lines of that we could still get a good attendence for this despite the change. I would certainly hope that the club would act accordingly anyway
