The wonderful world of Billy Davies' logic

If the penalty area is encroached by a member of the attacking team before the ball is played and the penalty is saved the penalty cannot be retaken and a free kick is awarded to the defending team. Only can be retaken if scored when an attacker encroaches or the encroachment is from a defender and the penalty is saved or missed.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies: "Wes Morgan was the luckiest player on the pitch. It was a clear goalscoring opportunity

To be fair, if that had been a Forest player on Vardy we'd stil be spitting that he didn't get sent off so I can see where Billy is coming from there.

Having said that, some of the other shit he came out with last night is an embarrassment and when all is said and done he's still a **** of the first order.

The problem is, his and their fans logic is flawed. Have they had all these injuries all year? No, only Wilson and Cohen have been out for most of the season I think, the rest were all playing and managed to end up 16 points behind us at one point.

Usual deluded Forest excuses.

Does it not also question what he does in training with them if so many are getting injured? But I suppose not otherwise billy would be to blame. :)

Shusssh... don't bring that up, you'll get banned from the Shitty Ground by mad Bill.

Billy Davies can be summed up by the fact he went 4-5-1 to defend his lead against 10 men!

Read some of the Forest boards they couldn't understand the logic.

Presume that's why they have drawn so many games.

However he comes across so poorly, can see why no one likes him who isn't directly working for him, he obviously sees that as a plus point.

Is there an echo in here? ;)

I used to think I'd take him as our manager because he had a solid record at this level and would get us challenging, but the other stuff is just self-important nonsense, a man who believes his ability is far greater than it actually is.

I want managers I can relate to, can listen to, who won't make the football club an embarrassment in interviews whilst making us competitive and entertaining on the pitch. In Pearson we have that, wouldn't swap them at all.

He does come across as very unstable. I can't work out how he keeps his players working for him. He must be a lot more measured behind the scenes that's for sure.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies: "Wes Morgan was the luckiest player on the pitch, he gets to captain the league leaders which is a great testament to his quality and vindication of his move across the East Midlands. It was a clear goalscoring opportunity.

"I had an exchange of words with the referee. I asked him why it was not a red card, he said that it was not a goalscoring opportunity. He sent me to the stand, for raising my voice".

Goalscoring opportunity my arse. Poison dwarf.

He also said something like, if we lost our back four and our three midfielders we wouldn't be in the position we're in. Now that's either an excuse for injuries or if we played with a team of three players, a goalie and two strikers, then we'd struggle.....welcome to the mixed up muddled up world of billy.

I think its a myth that injuries are totally down to 'luck'

Teams with like 5 or 6 injuries have to look at their own training methods, style of play, physiotherapy etc.

Ours and Burnley's lack of injuries is not down to luck but good player management etc.

This is just a ready made excuse for Forest and QPR if they fail basically.  Both deluded managers will blame lack of funds no doubt also.

To be fair his voice has to be raised seeing as his mouth is a good 18 inches lower down than most peoples ears.

There's clutching at straws and there's clutching at straws. He believes the penalty, our penalty, the missed penalty, should have been retaken as one of our players was in the box.

If there was encroachment and the penalty is missed it should be an IDFK to the defence. It's only a retake if the ball goes in.

Such a simple minded stupid manager.

He thinks us being down to 9men would gave them more of a chance, because We had the ten men he thinks we should had for half an hour, and we "won't 1-0!!!
