fleckneymike Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 There's clutching at straws and there's clutching at straws. He believes the penalty, our penalty, the missed penalty, should have been retaken as one of our players was in the box.
AKCJ Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I would have loved it if it was retaken and Phillips just smashed it in the top corner.
Mark_w Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Konchesky and a Forest player were in the box before their penalty was taken, guess that should have been retaken as well.
MattGamble92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Anyone paused their penalty when Reid steps up? Mackie is as much inside as Billy is to Natalie Jackson right now
Brooksy Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Shame cocknose wasn't there to shut him up. What a gimp.
Tuna Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies: "Wes Morgan was the luckiest player on the pitch. It was a clear goalscoring opportunity. "I had an exchange of words with the referee. I asked him why it was not a red card, he said that it was not a goalscoring opportunity. He sent me to the stand, for raising my voice". Goalscoring opportunity my arse. Poison dwarf.
Banks Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Billy think he's Brian Clough. Shame he's a little dwarf **** that bottles the play-offs every year.
chili_con_carne Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Billy think he's Brian Clough. Shame he's a little dwarf **** that bottles the play-offs every year. Yet our manager has bottled it twice?
yorkie1999 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He also said something like, if we lost our back four and our three midfielders we wouldn't be in the position we're in. Now that's either an excuse for injuries or if we played with a team of three players, a goalie and two strikers, then we'd struggle.....welcome to the mixed up muddled up world of billy.
Ian W LCFC Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Yet our manager has bottled it twice? Twice? Please enlighten me on the other time?
Carl the Llama Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Twice? Please enlighten me on the other time? The other time? Please enlighten me on the first time?
chili_con_carne Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 The team has lost twice in the play off semi finals under Nigel Pearson. If you say Billy Davies 'bottles it' in the play offs. Then surely Pearson does aswell. The manager doesn't play the football yano

His logic is always flawless. I mean, if they had as many points as we do and vice versa, then neither of us would be in the positions we are in.
Danno Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Maybe if you were a decent manager your team might be top of the league Billy .
Dan Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Typical Davies. Blames everyone other than the bang average **** that is himself. It'll all go up in flames and hopefully he's in the middle of them.
MattGamble92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Typical Davies. Blames everyone other than the bang average **** that is himself. It'll all go up in flames and hopefully he's in the middle of them. Spot on. He's the first to laud up the praise of their incredibly deluded fans when they win. After a draw/loss where his managerial frailty is there for all to see he's such a bitter bitter man

After a draw/loss where his managerial frailty is there for all to see he's such a bitter bitter man Bloke's an embarrassment. I used to think he was a good manager but a cvnt. Now he's just a cvnt. I think you can often read a fair bit into the ability of a manager when it comes to their reactions after a defeat. Those who tend to shed the blame onto anything but themselves are often doing it to save their own back in my opinion. How many times has Pearson ever gone on about the referee in an interview? He's criticised refs but he's never tried to put the whole blame onto them.

Then surely Pearson does aswell. The manager doesn't play the football yano If you compare the play offs we have been in under Nigel to any of Billy's play offs then you'd see 2 Leicester sides who come within a penalty or two of Wembley and 2 Forest sides who were absolutely out thought tactically, even on one occasion by a 10 man side (sound familiar?) That isn't to mention the little shit's Preston shambles after claiming "job done"
deejdeej Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I loved seeing the little orc riled in his interview. I don't care who he manages from now until he retires, that face will always make me squirm.
Babylon Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 He also said something like, if we lost our back four and our three midfielders we wouldn't be in the position we're in. Now that's either an excuse for injuries or if we played with a team of three players, a goalie and two strikers, then we'd struggle.....welcome to the mixed up muddled up world of billy. The problem is, his and their fans logic is flawed. Have they had all these injuries all year? No, only Wilson and Cohen have been out for most of the season I think, the rest were all playing and managed to end up 16 points behind us at one point. Usual deluded Forest excuses.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 I feel like hitting my head against a wall when I hear him. He just annoys me. Why come out and say stuff like that? Players encroaching will happen during every game. You'd never get Nige coming out and saying stuff like that. I'm delighted we got a point, especially in the circumstances, but I'm delighted to take a points off of Davies. Just annoying, and it doesn't matter if his side win 5-0 or lose 5-0, they are always the better team. Shame that he comes out and spoils himself, because he's a decent manager at this level.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Although I have no personal issue with the bloke, and he's always been polite to me professionally, I hope he never, ever manages our club.
billyn88 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 In all honesty, I'm really not that bothered about Forest as a club but Davies however... Just a classless megalomaniac with a messiah complex. He's annoying but just glad he's not in charge of our lot.
