Manwell Pablo Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 You can always tell, he's absence for this thread from tomorrow on-wards will be the tell tale sign.

Unabomber Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Kitchandro. Are you the product of your brother and sister having sex? WTF planet are you on? LEEETS GET REEEEADY TO RUUUUMBLE Cool fam. Nice
Brauny Fox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 It was a couple of scumbags from the ghetto and one of them supports Forest. It's an insult to sport they're known as superstars. I'm aware boxing is tactical but as I've said, tactics were shit tonight, and yet there wasn't many good punches thrown either. People just get too excited about a couple of scumbags scrapping poorly. Ooh how testosteron-ey. Wow! Sometimes, its best to stay away from the keyboard.
kingfox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Gotta hand it to Froch, caught him well, still a cvnt though.
Nick Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Lovely. Its the right result - the young big mouth pretender wasn't ready. Fair play to Matt P who called the 8th I had 7,8.9.10.11 for Froch £25 quid spread over it. £7 at 21's paid £141 Happy on all counts. I hope Froch gets his big Vegas fight and another payday.
broughtonblue Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 LEEEETTTTS GET REEEEADY TO RUUUUUMBLEWe've already hadThe rumble in the jungle The thriller in Manila Now we have the power at the tower (unless the gobshite teenager fills his nappy and bottles it!)
jimmeh Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 So because they perhaps had rough upbringings that means they cant be superstars! Even if they were 'scumbags' what does that matter? How much money has marlon king made from sport. Your good at a sport you make money from it whatever your upbringing.
jimmeh Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 By the way Groves was an embarrasment tonight. I would take half of his money away and give it to charity! He never looked at any stage like he had a chance of winning
Soar Fox Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 By the way Groves was an embarrasment tonight. I would take half of his money away and give it to charity! He never looked at any stage like he had a chance of winning Did you watch the fight? Groves looked very comfortable landed some good punches and I'd say was just edging it on the scorecard.
jimmeh Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Did you watch the fight? Groves looked very comfortable landed some good punches and I'd say was just edging it on the scorecard. Not a chance! He never looked comfortable. Your living in amir khans little world
foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Not a chance! He never looked comfortable. Your living in amir khans little worldIndeed Froch was never hurt, looked comfortable throughout, I had him 5-2 up before the knockout...
Nick Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 Did you watch the fight? Groves looked very comfortable landed some good punches and I'd say was just edging it on the scorecard. Nah mate.
BoneDog Posted 31 May 2014 Posted 31 May 2014 LEEEETTTTS GET REEEEADY TO RUUUUUMBLE Can't quite see Barry Hearn wanting this one.
Tom17LCFC Posted 1 June 2014 Posted 1 June 2014 Actually I do have a clue, I've done kickboxing and I know what good punches are all about, it isn't just flailing your arms. I've seen more exciting fights than that at the clock tower. The fight might not have been as exciting as the first but to claim neither are good boxers is just ridiculous.
Bert Posted 1 June 2014 Posted 1 June 2014 Groves was probably a round down for me, but never ever looked in any real trouble or an embarrassment. He just got caught by a fantastic right hand, admitted so as well. Said earlier wasn't bothered who won just wanted to see a good fight. Was a different spectacle from the first fight, and that shown in the performance of Froch who have Groves much more respect and after the first fight, rightly so. A good technical fight that was decided by one devastating punch.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 1 June 2014 Posted 1 June 2014 It's all come a bit full circle, Froch used to be the mouthy young fighter spouting off about getting a fight with Joe Calzaghe, Credit to him though when a serious domestic threat came through the ranks he didn't dodge it, it was a fairly even fight apart from one punch. Whether he's forest or not he's a British world champion and that's something to get behind.

A good technical fight that was decided by one devastating punch. Pretty much sums it up for me. Some of the comments here are a bit harsh on Groves. But that knockout punch by Froch...What a hit son, what a hit!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 June 2014 Posted 1 June 2014 Just watched the knockout punch again, just the sweetiest hit I have ever seen. Groves took the full power directly on the head, just unbelievable. That punch would probably kill most people...
