Charl91 Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 World Cup for me, and probably most people. We can always get back to the prem, but we'll probably never win a World Cup in my life-time.
ScouseFox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 i think i'd rather we won the world cup than probably anything else in sport that could ever happen
lavrentis Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 For the reason that a World Cup victory does not directly affect LCFC's performances... i will go with both.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Wow, amazed anybody even thought twice about this. Club before country all day long.
Guest MattP Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Premier League. Club comes before Country everytime in football, if it didn't I'd jack in the LCFC tickets and follow England instead.
Corky Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Premier League survival. Feel far more connected to Leicester than England, but I hope the World Cup is entertaining and England put in some spirited performances.
ScouseFox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 woah. i get club over country, but look at the difference in prizes here man. being the 17th best team in england or WINNING THE ACTUAL WORLD CUP!!!1!!!!1!!!1!111!!!!!!!11
jimmeh Posted 20 March 2014 Author Posted 20 March 2014 Think about who plays for our club? Professionals who really are there for the money. Who plays for the country of your birth? And to win it in Brazil. Can't believe anyone would choose prem survival over world cup win in brazil. Shocking!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 This is actually a tough one. I'd rather see LCFC win the FA Cup and have our name on that trophy forever than see us go down than see us stay up if I had to choose (this is obviously a hypothetical either/or question, so you can't choose both). Additionally, I do feel more strongly about LCFC than England but seeing England win the world cup would give the entire country a boost. Also, I would love to see England win the world cup before I die, so I'll have to go with the World Cup.
Charl91 Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 If it was Leicester winning the champions league (or even the FA cup), then yes. But premier league survival? Naah. Even Hull can manage that.
hackneyfox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Can't believe anyone would chose that bunch of overpaid egotistical wankers over their own club.

Can't believe anyone would choose prem survival over world cup win in brazil. Shocking! They'll have proved themselves to be able to compete in the top division following on from what is looking increasingly like a glorious promotion. They have earned their money and some.

I watch the games but stopped being emotionally involved when Keegan was manager.
Raj Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 No brainer. Prem survival. Interestingly those who voted england- do you actually watch England? I know some like ashley,Hullfox do but are there many other here who follow them?
ScouseFox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 to add further, i've (and so have probably most on here) seen us survive in the prem and it was quite good yeah. but imagine if we won the world cup. with andy carroll up front and hendo in midfield. i think i'd cry tears of joy for months. the dream.
Raj Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 P.S people moan about 'Plastics' following City when we do well...i think the whole nations become England "plastics' when a big tourno is on!!
bluesbrothers Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 As much as I want to see England lift the WC, for purely selfish reasons, I would rather us stay up. Let's face it, if the likes of Drinkwater, Moore and Vardy continue to make the step up, they could end up playing for the Three Lions if we establish ourselves in the Prem a la Southampton. Unless the FA's backward policy on player selection changes, they'll never get that chance if we go back down, or they may be tempted to leave to pursue a chance of an international career.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 I'm a club over country kind of guy but this is a silly question, there is no bigger trophy than the World Cup I'd love to see England win it in my lifetime, against survival and getting an extra season struggling in the Prem? No contest.
