World cup victory or relegation survival?

  1. 1. If only one could happen, do you choose England to win the world cup in Brazil, or we stay in the Premiership?

Premier League.

Club comes before Country everytime in football, if it didn't I'd jack in the LCFC tickets and follow England instead.

Premier League survival.

Feel far more connected to Leicester than England, but I hope the World Cup is entertaining and England put in some spirited performances.

woah. i get club over country, but look at the difference in prizes here man.

Think about who plays for our club? Professionals who really are there for the money. Who plays for the country of your birth? And to win it in Brazil. Can't believe anyone would choose prem survival over world cup win in brazil. Shocking!

This is actually a tough one. I'd rather see LCFC win the FA Cup and have our name on that trophy forever than see us go down than see us stay up if I had to choose (this is obviously a hypothetical either/or question, so you can't choose both).

Additionally, I do feel more strongly about LCFC than England but seeing England win the world cup would give the entire country a boost. Also, I would love to see England win the world cup before I die, so I'll have to go with the World Cup.

If it was Leicester winning the champions league (or even the FA cup), then yes. But premier league survival? Naah. Even Hull can manage that.

They'll have proved themselves to be able to compete in the top division following on from what is looking increasingly like a glorious promotion.

They have earned their money and some.

Most of the England players are complete tossers though.

But Leicester can't win the World Cup and I gave up on England a long time ago.

I watch the games but stopped being emotionally involved when Keegan was manager.

No brainer.

Prem survival.

Interestingly those who voted england- do you actually watch England?

I know some like ashley,Hullfox do but are there many other here who follow them?

to add further, i've (and so have probably most on here) seen us survive in the prem and it was quite good yeah.

but imagine if we won the world cup. with andy carroll up front and hendo in midfield. i think i'd cry tears of joy for months. the dream.

P.S people moan about 'Plastics' following City when we do well...i think the whole nations become England "plastics' when a big tourno is on!!

As much as I want to see England lift the WC, for purely selfish reasons, I would rather us stay up. Let's face it, if the likes of Drinkwater, Moore and Vardy continue to make the step up, they could end up playing for the Three Lions if we establish ourselves in the Prem a la Southampton. Unless the FA's backward policy on player selection changes, they'll never get that chance if we go back down, or they may be tempted to leave to pursue a chance of an international career.

I'm a club over country kind of guy but this is a silly question, there is no bigger trophy than the World Cup I'd love to see England win it in my lifetime, against survival and getting an extra season struggling in the Prem? No contest.
