Vardinhio Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Can anyone recomend any good places for Paintballing in Leicestershire?
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 make sure you get some protection, never experienced pain like it.
Uncle Phil Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 I went to a place near Ratby years ago that was decent.

LCFC FOX Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Yes, I've been to the one in Ratby a couple of times. Me and my mates loved it. Some great game modes
ADK Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Went to a good one with my school, although it was in London so not much use to you. Things I recommend: Go to one with a higher entry fee that doesn't charge so much for paint, otherwise they try every trick in the book to get you to buy more paint. Go to one that doesn't have "unlimited lives", they just do this to make you use more paint it ruins the game imo. Might be ok if it's just for some games. Don't go to one that doesn't allow headshots. That's just daft as anyone in a prone position will be hard to hit anywhere else. Other than that, you might want to protect your balls, but it's not really worth protecting anything else. I got far more bruises running into objects than from the paintballs.(you'll get safety goggles for eyes of course)
Kitchandro Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Went to Chaos paintball for my 16th or something like that. http://www.armourgeddon.co.uk/chaos_paintball.php#.UytRFoXQuSo I've been a couple of times actually and it was quality. Turned out to be pretty expensive though.
Stadt Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Delta Force in Nottingham is better than Ratby, more expensive I think though.
Ian W LCFC Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 I went to Delta Force in Coventry, was good fun. They have a few other places too.
Soar Fox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Only been once and didn't really like it. Though I was severely hungover and it was freezing. Think it was near or in Husbands Bosworth.
Vardinhio Posted 20 March 2014 Author Posted 20 March 2014 Cheers guys thanks for all the advice. I'm looking at the Ratby one as a starter due to its location.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Ratby. Or theres the one at j22 roundabout 22sas or something
Adster Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 Rebel Paintballing in Ratby's decent. Been there a few times.
Webbo Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I've got some emulsion and a brush. You get them out and I 'll paint em 20 quid a go.
ozleicester Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I've got some emulsion and a brush. You get them out and I 'll paint email 20 quid a go. TBJS will be all over this!
kingcarr21 Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 Rebel is good. If you want to be brave only wear underwear under the overalls they give you. if you wear thick clothing underneath then it will certainly take the pain away but i think half the fun with paintballing is the pain. i remember once i was sitting in a house shooting out a window. I ducked under the window to take cover but someone had sneaked around and put the gun thru the window aiming down. Shot me right on top of the head from only inches away. That was really painful. But strangely i would say the worst part i got hit was right on the palm of my hand. I had no gloves on and it was cold my hand was throbbing all day afterwards. Good times

Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 They hurt a lot more when they don't burst. One grazed the top of my ear - bloody hell, that killed. Prefer that though to getting hit right on the cock like my mate did. Gave him an excuse to show us, naturally. Did look sore (from the paintball)
AdamN Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I prefer doing it in winter so I can actually wear a bit of padding without overheating and about dying. And yeah try to avoid getting hit on the head/hand... That ain't enjoyable...

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 21 March 2014 Posted 21 March 2014 I went to a place near Ratby years ago that was decent. First time I went, I was hit in the throat (below mask) and it was one that didn't burst so didn't absorb any impact. Got a lump immediately, hurt like a bastard
