Happy Fox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/29333/9234799/kevin-phillips-leicester-desperate-to-beat-burnley-to-championship-title The question is, with us both being so clear ahead of QPR, do we both go for the throat and go for the win to try and boost our title chances? We’ll certainly go there to win the game but we won’t go all guns blazing. We’ll have to be sensible because we know they’ve got a lot of threat in their team and good players who can hurt you. I actually expect it to be a tight affair, similar to what it was like at the King Power in December. I remember watching that on Sky before I joined Leicester and there was not a lot in it. I predict it will be the same this weekend. Burnley are the home team and will come at us and we’ll expect that and set up to be hard to break down. But with the pace and the trickery we’ve got in the team we’ll try to hit them on the counter. It will be an interesting affair.
Kitchandro Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 I'm sure Dyche has worked all of that out already!
Captain... Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Or we'll just set-up 442 and play how we always do, I'm guessing Kev is challenging them to come at us, because we know we can get in behind them. Remember agent Waghorn telling Millwall that the best approach is to come at us at home, and we dicked them, Kev has said what NP wants him to say, mind games man, mind games!!!
ealingfox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 We've been lethal on the counter all season, they're at home, they'll come at us. Unless they are afraid of us and losing their unbeaten home record, then they might just park the bus.
johnny the fox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 As long as kasper plays as a lone striker i have no worries.
Fox92 Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 He's basically said what we all think, and what's been said in the pre-match thread.
fuchsntf Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Que sera sera. We go to our friends at Turfmoor. Hey hombre , I kill people for money, You are my friend, I kill you for nothing.
StanSP Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 If Burnley didn't know that already, then they need to get better scouts.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Or we'll just set-up 442 and play how we always do, I'm guessing Kev is challenging them to come at us, because we know we can get in behind them. Maybe that's what NP wants them to think and it's a double bluff
NewquayFox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Couple of Burnley fans down here are convinced we will take their unbeaten home record from them, they would take a draw and go up as runners up..... In Pearson we trust.....

How have tactics been revealed? Sounds like a tabloid headline with no actual substance. Try again buddy
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 He's a bit out of order in my opinion, I hope Nige has a word.
65RosesFox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 I wouldn't read too much into it. Super Kev doesn't know what he's saying half the time (apologies if been posted elsewhere) http://lockerdome.com/bbcsporf/6169461380096065/6466043602283540
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 He's a bit out of order in my opinion, I hope Nige has a word. I hope you're joking? You are joking, right?
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Only this forum could make a story about this, some of you should be tabloid journalists
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 Don't sell my Kev Super Kevvy Kev I just don't think he'll wear a fez Sang this none stop the other day, no one joined in and I had to stop when the people around me started telling me to fvck off. When they started spitting in in my face it was a bit hard to take
The Horse's Mouth Posted 27 March 2014 Posted 27 March 2014 I hope you're joking? You are joking, right? Look, I'm as positive as the next man and I love good old Super Kev. But he should really watch his tongue when talking to the media, especially at such an important game to the season.

I'm pretty sure burnley are aware of how we play and vice versa
