Buzzell Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Marcos Lopes is a good shout! There are always going to be those young players at the 'big' clubs that may be available on loan... A few names to add to the 'realistic (loan) signings' Yaya Sanogo Joel Campbell Nathan Ake Kurt Zouma Oriol Romeu Patrick Bamford Thorgan Hazard Nick Powell Harry Kane Jake Livermore Tom Carroll What do you think? I'm obviously not saying we should get all these players, or even that we need them, but I'd imagine that they're the sort of names that Pearson could get. Personally, I would argue that our own development squad should be tried before these youngsters, but then again, they are all at 'big' clubs for a reason... Nick Powell isn't a bad shout. Would love to see him here next year if we had the chance to loan him, which you would expect Man Utd would do next year.
DontSellKnockaert Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Colback would be a great signing, I think Bardsley wouldn't be bad either.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Wouldn't mind Rangel off Swansea, would add a bit of experience to the side.
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Ibrahim Affelay? 5million 30K a week Does he have a younger brother who's worth about a fifth of that and with a brighter future ahead of him, by any chance?
Harry - LCFC Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Are you sure it was Waitrose and not Morrisons. We can't allow topics like this based on my mate told me.......... else we'll be swamped with dross. Watch this space as it will be deleted or merged with Realistic signings topic You talk as if we aren't in that position already
Can'tCookDon'tCare Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 What about that Puskas chap? He's a bit old mate. Maybe 40 years ago.
dmayne7 Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 He's a bit old mate. Maybe 40 years ago. You won't last long around here!
Steven Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 He's a bit old mate. Maybe 40 years ago. Even though he died eight years ago I am certain he would score more goals than Hammond (ankle).
kingfox Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Van Rhijn from ajax at RB to challenge de laet? Challenge De Laet. More like replace him.
Foxboy Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Challenge De Laet. More like replace him. Fair enough
Foxboy Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 Anyone reckon we could get serge gnabry on loan for RM and then let Knoackaert play at CAM?
Ayelstone johnny Posted 11 April 2014 Posted 11 April 2014 While we're going for puskas how about Poul Nielsen Danish legend only abit worse that bedtner
oli fox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 I know a few of these have already been mentioned but Sunderland have quite a few out of contract this summer who might be worth a shot, especially on a free. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11695/9260526/transfer-news-jack-colback-and-phil-bardsley-set-to-leave-sunderland-this-summer
Happy Fox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Paul Merson suggested we should go for Smalling and Bardsley I would certainly take both of them.
sdb Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Smalling who starts most Man Utd games? Bit ambitious, even if he is ultimately a mid-table Prem player.
RizLCFC Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Paul Merson suggested we should go for Smalling and Bardsley I would certainly take both of them. Smalling - no chance, Bardsley I'd take.
dog_4 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 ibhrima Traore from Studgatt! Looks a very live player
Buzzell Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Jordi Gomez from Wigan, that's if they don't go up.
