docho66 Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 I like the simplicity, but it feels unfinished! The justeat.co.uk logo looks appalling against the plain white.
Ricey Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 I actually like that Derby shirt. Change it to blue and white, with the Leicester and King Power logos and everyone would love it.
Finnaldo Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Not sure about it being an 'awful' kit, but that sponsor is definitely horrendously out of place. If it was more central it would be a good kit but it seems they've followed the recent trend of strangely high sponsors. Really don't understand the placement,
............... Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 T shirts with a badge are what most kits are nowadays, just complete laziness by manufacturers, yet people love them, like that derby one. Looks so cheap.
wakeyfox01 Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 The way it's presented in the photo probably makes it look worse than it is. The sleeves look baggy and shapeless and the badges look too small. I generally like plain kits but that just looks cheap and lazy.
Xen Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 I actually like that Derby shirt. Change it to blue and white, with the Leicester and King Power logos and everyone would love it. Just a quick edit, so still a bit messy. Added some trim on the sleeves to finish it off a bit as well.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 It looks dull on its own but I'm sure it wouldn't look as flat with the shorts and socks with it. Adds a bit of 'detail' that you always miss with a plainer shirt.
Babylon Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 The only thing that ruins it for me is the "Umbro" on the arms. You're ok with the horrid just eat logo on the front? There is no point in going for a very simple retro style shirt if your sponsor isn't going to blend in very well. That logo is too modern and too overpowering.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 I agree. The sponsor's sort of become the main feature of that kit. Plain, black writing in the middle would make look a lot less cheap.
Bourne Blue& White Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Would suit this geezerhttp://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:YouveComeALongWayBaby2.jpg
Samilktray Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Still think these umbro kits would be better with just the diamond and no logos on the arms.
Jace Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Haaaaa! no he really does! The whole catholic / Protestant divide is still big over there! Haha yeah its crazy how passionate some of them are about being British and the respect they have towards the English, never realised till I asked an Ulster Freedom Figher in Magaluf wherever he was a Celtic or Rangers fan years and till I went to Belfast myself
jammie82uk Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 I agree. The sponsor's sort of become the main feature of that kit. Plain, black writing in the middle would make look a lot less cheap. Isn't that supposed to be the point
Buzzell Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 That Derby kit would look a whole lot better without the 'Umbro' on the arms and then add black stitching, like the neck line, to the sleeves. It just looks too plain and cheap.
Harry - LCFC Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Isn't that supposed to be the point The kit manufacturer won't be designing the shirt so the sponsor stands out, it's just an unfortunate clash of a plain design with a really visible logo. Some sponsor blend in quite well I think, Liverpool's isn't very in your face.
Banks Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Really like that Derby shirt, way better than the utter shite we wear every season
Jace Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Its the sponsor that makes it bad no design could look good with that across it nearly as crap as that big red heart Portsmouth shirts used to have
Beliall Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 That Derby kit would look a whole lot better without the 'Umbro' on the arms and then add black stitching, like the neck line, to the sleeves. It just looks too plain and cheap. It would better with skrill north patches on it.
RGFox Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Its the sponsor that makes it bad no design could look good with that across it nearly as crap as that big red heart Portsmouth shirts used to have Or the topps logo!!
Robin JD Popley Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Would suit this geezer http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:YouveComeALongWayBaby2.jpg Actually 'Laughed Out Loud!'
Leicester Lass Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 If all goes to plan home kit will be launched 19th July. There's a sneak preview and more information being published on the website tomorrow. Away kit won't be launched until much closer to the season, 2 weeks before at most.
jonthefox Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Go on them. Who can change that to just shit .co. Uk.
