Grewks Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 We played a far far worse side than the brighton side which turned up on Tuesday. Just as poor, just as clueless, had it been Brighton it probably would have been 4-1 again. We need to improve a lot by saturday.
Jimmy Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Morgan was poor again, Nugent marginally better than Tuesday
Unabomber Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Decent point and our new unbeaten records starts.
Tielemans63 Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 At the end of the day, its been a disappointing week but we've got 90 points after 42 games, we're 7 clear and we've set a new record for unbeaten away games.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Thought we played well at times to be honest. Only weaklink I picked up was Dyer, who wasn't making his menacing runs or being all that good defensively. Set pieces still look dodgy at times but hey ho
NewburyFox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 Defensively a shambles again, but much much better going forward. The players battled hard today, the two performances aren't comparable at all.
glenelgfox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I am big Dyer fan but his performance tonight was as poor as I have seen. Lost both his pace and his first touch.
Vardinhio Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 1-1 away at Reading and people are dissapointed, shows what a great season we have had!

Soar Fox Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I should play ahead of Dyer. I doubt you could do any worse mate. All Llyod has got is pace.
One Arm Babba Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 4 games remain and a 6 point return guarantees the title, and people are moaning??? Reading away is always tough, a point is fine for us. Carry on.
Guest ttfn Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I doubt you could do any worse mate. All Llyod has got is pace. How is it so easily forgotten what a great first half of the season Lloyd had? Without him it's questionable that we'd be challenging for automatic promotion. We might be, but he was a huge part of establishing us at the top of the league. That doesn't happen if all you've got is pace.
Corky Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 I like Lloyd a lot for his obvious care for the club and when in full flow can be great to watch, but you can see why Mahrez was brought in. Stronger, more skilful, more balanced and threatening.

His first touch was poor today as well. I'm not doubting he's had a decent season but today he was poor and as a fan I'm entitled to say that. But he isn't good enough for the top flight.

I'm disputing that "all he's got is pace". If ever it's been disproven it's this season. Dyer was excellent for over half the season for goodness sake. The likes of Dyer don't need to be good enough to be starting Premier League games to stay, they need to be good enough to offer something. I think he'd be a good option off the bench next season.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 1-1 away draw at a play off hopeful is fine, why start moaning? The hard work is done, players are bound to slightly ease off, they have been playing under lots of pressure this season it's only natural now the promotion goal has been archived. Give the team a break and enjoy the rest of a fantastic season.

But most of the time that's all the uses to beat his man (which is great as he beats them most of the time) You watch Mahrez get the ball he's got a couple of tricks to beat his man where as Llyod it's just head down and run. I'm not knocking the bloke and he's been a great servant but like I said we can't be sentimental to survive in the premiership next season.
