cjslcfc Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 We will be ok RE: Schlupp. Ghana chose not to select him due to his injury and him not being able to fly with it. They had their own independent medical exam.
ealingfox Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 how the ****ing hell can they kick someone out a competition for playing their own player who was perfectly allowed to play FIFA rules. Can't appear for your Club while you're meant to be on international duty. I don't know exactly what happened but perhaps the distinction is that Sakho was named in the squad and then pulled out, but Schlupp wasn't picked because of injury in the first place. If that's not true I guess the fact that Ghana did their own medical is more than enough of a distinction between the two. Certainly makes West Ham look a lot more dodgy than us.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 February 2015 Posted 3 February 2015 I think this is bad news for us Depends who replaces him. It won't be an easy sell for Fernandes trying to get a manager to join a side who have lost 11 away on the spin with no chance to build his own team.
MC Prussian Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Hmm... Crystal Palace sign an unknown striker from Barton Rovers because he scored a hat trick in a test match. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/31118527
Donut Posted 5 February 2015 Posted 5 February 2015 Its surely a bit ridiculous that Rangers manager Kenny McDowell, has been told by the Rangers board of which Mike Ashley is part of, Newcastle owner, that he has to play all 5 players that he has sent from Newcastle to Rangers in every game when fit. Its not a question of improving Rangers, its the way Ashley is ruthlessly using Rangers as a shop window to get rid of surplus to requirements Newcastle players. Cant believe that this isnt a conflict of interest and somehow it seems like the Watfinese saga all over again but somehow worse.
EnderbyFox Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Apparently Everton are giving Gerrard a Guard Of Honour tomorrow, I'm sure their fans will love that Surely can't be true?
purpleronnie Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 Apparently Everton are giving Gerrard a Guard Of Honour tomorrow, I'm sure their fans will love that Surely can't be true? Tis the friendly derby innit
lgfualol Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 It is like Gerrard is dying. This season is like a farewell tour.
AKCJ Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 The adverts for the merseyside derby are doing my head in. All clips of Gerrard with 'You'll Never Walk Alone' playing in the background. I hope Gerrard gets sent off in the first minute and Everton win 8-0. Each goalscorer revealing an undershirt with the slogan "**** off to America you ****".
Guest MattP Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 I can genuinely see the Liverpool fans holding some sort of vigil or minutes silence for Gerrard on his last game. And then when opposing fans laugh be widely accused of mocking Hillsborough.
Guest MattP Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 qpr press conference on sky to one of the two joint managers for tomorrow. 'What happens if one of you wants to bring on a striker and the other doesn't? ' 'We'll have a fight' 'Haha no seriously though' 'Err I dunno actually, not really, err sure it will be alright' Can you believe a multi million pound turnover football club can actually be ran like this? What a shambles.
StanSP Posted 6 February 2015 Posted 6 February 2015 8 minute applause from the 8th minute and every 8 minutes after that.
ARTY_FOX Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 I can genuinely see the Liverpool fans holding some sort of vigil or minutes silence for Gerrard on his last game. And then when opposing fans laugh be widely accused of mocking Hillsborough. sky will have something planned for his last game.Wether viewers like it or not tbh......
lgfualol Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 What a goal by Arsenal. Do we have to play Arsenal on Tuesday? Or..
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Kane, what a load of rubbish... just scores and that is all
glenelgfox Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Kane would walk into our starting 11 but our lack of supply would send him back to being the spud he was when he was with us on loan.
AKCJ Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Just an utter goal machine. You have to applaud his improvement over the last year or so.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 7 February 2015 Posted 7 February 2015 Kane would walk into our starting 11 but our lack of supply would send him back to being the spud he was when he was with us on loan.Very true, but still he is capable of being in the right areas, and doesn't need many opportunities to score... so actually would benefit us like Ulloa... don't miss manyJust an utter goal machine. You have to applaud his improvement over the last year or so. It is the most remarkable improvement I have ever seen, he went from useless to world class
lgfualol Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 That Hull goal was diabolical Proper Fifa goal
Jaspa Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Proper Fifa goal More like FM http://www.goalopedia.com/goals/1994
Corky Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 On MOTD they are "running out of superlatives to say about Harry Kane". How about we calm down just a little bit. He might be a flash in the pan, he might be a top striker that helps England in crucial moments. But we've had a habit of building players up, not finding weaknesses, when they stop scoring as freely, or creating chances the tide turns. Lukaku, Barkley, Rodwell- all great youngsters who had few problems with their game and suddenly the scrutiny increases. Kane shouldn't be the new Alan Shearer, he should be judged on what he is doing and left to get on with scoring goals and contributing.

You'd be praising him to the rafters, I suggest. Was discussing Kane last night in the boozer. This CAN'T be the same kid who was on loan at our place. I ain't having it! I don't think I've seen a young English striker on this kind of form for some time. And he LOVED beating the Arsenal. I like that..real pashun.

But running out of superlatives after one season?
