Guest Col city fan Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Too bloody right Col....Cant we all just talk about Only Fools instead of this football crap!!! it was when Dell wanted to get Rodney out of the hotel room, to go for a 'scampi supper'.. And Albert twigged it and helped Dell to do it. Magic episode that.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 You're wrong. It was over in Novem... wait I mean October. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot/deluded/a happy clapper. I think you mean logical.
HankMarvin Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 You've got to be kidding me about Sherwood right? In most cases the better form is more to do with a set of players who forgot working hard because they want to deflect blame on the manager during poor form. A new bloke comes in and they begin to up their game thinking 'ooo I got a contract renewal coming up and I'm not sure this guy rates me'. It's still predominantly the players. The manager doesn't miss tons of chances, the manager doesn't concede own goals. no, no doubt villa will pull away i will then remind you of this post, yeah your right after all every player that plays contract is up in 6 months and they are not tied in 2,3,4 year contracts. The fact is some players wanna play for certain managers - they get the most out of players, its all good when your on a winning run - but the true test of a good manager is how he makes the players bounce back from defeat. Did you not see the article on the west brom players saying that pullis put an arm round the shoulder and made them feel wanted, no one can argue the fact that over the last 2 seasons for what ever reason changing managers for an experienced manager at this level has resulted in an upturn of results
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I think you mean logical. No... Couldn't possibly be logical to think we still had a chance of staying up when we were a third of the way through the season.
VLC86 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I'd at least like to get off bottom this season. I hear their is some weird therapy to do this, ask Dr Cristian from Channel 4.
lestajigs Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 it was when Dell wanted to get Rodney out of the hotel room, to go for a 'scampi supper'.. And Albert twigged it and helped Dell to do it. Magic episode that. Cracks me up, when he's trying to wake someone Up throwing stones at the window, but puts the window through
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 No... Couldn't possibly be logical to think we still had a chance of staying up when we were a third of the way through the season. We weren't even in the bottom three in october.
Raj Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 it was when Dell wanted to get Rodney out of the hotel room, to go for a 'scampi supper'.. And Albert twigged it and helped Dell to do it. Magic episode that. When Delboy met up with Raquel!!! Oh those lovely memories.....im sure City were a winning team in them days too...!
David Lowe Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Jesus Christ, great bit of info this, I have a little hope now They had 3 games in hand on 2 teams and Norwich had a horrible run-in with a youth team manager.
the-blue-wildabeast Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Chill out everyone, we have been as good as down for months, we decided to stick with a man who has shown he HSS no idea how to get the best out of this group of players, so there never was going to be a great improvement, just more of the same, so it will be a success if we can even get off the bottom. Enjoy what's left and get ready for a god few more years in the championship.
Izzy Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 You're wrong. It was over in Novem... wait I mean October. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot/deluded/a happy clapper. Have you been to a game and supported your team since Novem....wait I mean October? If so, then you can't have believed it was over like us idiot/deluded/happy clappers. I've you've already given up, what's the point in posting mate?
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We weren't even in the bottom three in october. Honestly think I've lost the plot because of the amount of people saying we are already down/were down ages ago. A season is 38 games long for Christ's sake.
adam Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Honestly think I've lost the plot because of the amount of people saying we are already down/were down ages ago. A season is 38 games long for Christ's sake. We have been useless since October though!

Sarcasm/mimicking several posts already on here was clearly lost on you mate, sorry. I've been to many games and always support the team. I've nowhere near given up. If you see any of my posts (apart from the recent ones in this thread) you'll see I'm a pretty optimistic poster!

Enjoy what's left and get ready for a god few more years in the championship. So much wrong with this. Saying we've been down for months is such an obvious lie I don't know why you'd bother to make it. Saying Pearson has never got the best out of the players is such an obvious lie I don't know why you'd bother making it. Acting like you know we're destined for several seasons in the Championship is such an obv....
Izzy Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Honestly think I've lost the plot because of the amount of people saying we are already down/were down ages ago. A season is 38 games long for Christ's sake. Well said brother
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We have been useless since October though! Spurs (H) Hull (A) Liverpool (A) Villa (H) Newcastle (H - cup) Spurs (A - cup) Palace (H) Arsenal (A) Everton (A) all say a different story to "useless" but it's not been great, yeah. Otherwise we wouldn't all be so angry!

cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I do envy them in a way, I imagine these are less painful. Yeah but then did they get the thrill when West Brom equalised? Probably not. It's what the game is about. Your own team, other teams (and what that means for your own team), highs, lows... If we all just bothered about our own team it wouldn't nearly be as exciting and gripping. That's football!
adam Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Spurs (H) Hull (A) Liverpool (A) Villa (H) Newcastle (H - cup) Spurs (A - cup) Palace (H) Arsenal (A) Everton (A) all say a different story to "useless" but it's not been great, yeah. Otherwise we wouldn't all be so angry! yeah brilliant, 2 league wins
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 yeah brilliant, 2 league wins Sigh. You don't get what I'm saying do you. A loss doesn't mean you've been "useless". You honestly think we were useless in all those games? I really feel for you if you do.
Fosse93 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 They had 3 games in hand on 2 teams and Norwich had a horrible run-in with a youth team manager. Sunderland lost there first game in hand to Everton. Norwich should have stayed up, without doubt.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 When Delboy met up with Raquel!!! Oh those lovely memories.....im sure City were a winning team in them days too...! The 'Great Raymondo'...

I really feel for you if you do. Well look at it another way then. Spurs (H) - they were there for the taking but we didn't start playing until the 2nd half Hull (A) - lucky to win. If Hull had took there chances we would of been battered. Liverpool (A) - unlucky not to win Villa (H) - 2 shit teams Newcastle (H - cup) - lucky again Spurs (A - cup) very lucky Palace (H) - terrible performance Arsenal (A) - would of took a point if we didn't make the same mistakes we have been making all season. (step forward wes morgan) Everton (A) - they were shite but Lukaku probably should of scored at least 4. weve been hopless. Look at the table even Burnley have more points than us
Raj Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 The 'Great Raymondo'... We could do with that cvnt now to get us out this shite!
