cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Well look at it another way then. Spurs (H) - they were there for the taking but we didn't start playing until the 2nd half Hull (A) - lucky to win. If Hull had took there chances we would of been battered. Liverpool (A) - unlucky not to win Villa (H) - 2 shit teams Newcastle (H - cup) - lucky again Spurs (A - cup) very lucky Palace (H) - terrible performance Arsenal (A) - would of took a point if we didn't make the same mistakes we have been making all season. (step forward wes morgan) Everton (A) - they were shite but Lukaku probably should of scored at least 4. weve been hopless. Look at the table even Burnley have more points than us If you want to look at it that way then that's up to you. But I cannot even comprehend Palace at home being a terrible performance
ScouseFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 gotta say it is quite frustrating that when we're better than teams but lose it's COS WE SHUD SCORE MORE WE SHIT but when we under perform and scrape a win (stoke/hull) it's SHIT PERFORMANCE SHUD LOST ANYWAY DNT EVEN COUNT OIGAHVRNUIALVSVDNU KXJZ
adam Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 If you want to look at it that way then that's up to you. But I cannot even comprehend Palace at home being a terrible performance seriously, we bottled it. Wrong team selection as usual
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 seriously, we bottled it. Wrong team selection as usual If it was really that terrible then I don't think there's a word to even describe Swansea away
adam Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 If it was really that terrible then I don't think there's a word to even describe Swansea away shambolic?

MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 The least I can wish for right now is finishing in 18th spot, above Barnsley and QPR.
David Lowe Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 The least I can wish for right now is finishing in 18th spot, above Barnsley and QPR. We had better finish above Barnsley.
Danno Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 Worst part about work tomorrow is the smug fan of *insert nondescript premier league/championship team* with the usual 'what about leicester then?'
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 Horrible result for us, it is starting to look a bit bleak, even the most optimistic of fans would say it is getting harder/less likely with every passing game. But why give up? I believe we are capable of putting 2 or 3 wins together on the bounce, that's all it takes for us to be bang in with a chance. Beat Man City tomorrow (yes, I know...) then everyone starts to believe. I still believe, keep the fvcking faith all you negative nancies.
Ric Flair Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 20 points from 12 games may not be enough and baring in mind we've only 18 from 26 shows just how naive we've been this season. I think 17th could have 40+ points which means we are down already realistically. Shame.
Callabinho Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 So much wrong with this. Saying we've been down for months is such an obvious lie I don't know why you'd bother to make it. Saying Pearson has never got the best out of the players is such an obvious lie I don't know why you'd bother making it. Acting like you know we're destined for several seasons in the Championship is such an obv.... It's not lies though is it? We've been hopelessly pathetic since October, and ever since we landed on our arses at the foot of the table, it's been blatantly obvious that we won't recover. There's no point in having a go at those who chose to be negative, we all pay our money and the return we've had has been pathetic, Villa away was the most insulting 90 minutes I've had to sit through for years. We won't beat Man City, and we won't stay up, neither will we come back up next season, so just allow us to moan and groan.
CosbehFox Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 no, no doubt villa will pull away i will then remind you of this post, yeah your right after all every player that plays contract is up in 6 months and they are not tied in 2,3,4 year contracts. The fact is some players wanna play for certain managers - they get the most out of players, its all good when your on a winning run - but the true test of a good manager is how he makes the players bounce back from defeat. Did you not see the article on the west brom players saying that pullis put an arm round the shoulder and made them feel wanted, no one can argue the fact that over the last 2 seasons for what ever reason changing managers for an experienced manager at this level has resulted in an upturn of results I could carry this on but it will be a bore for all and sundry. Poyet wasn't an experienced manager and got Sunderland out of the dump last season. By bringing it up at end of season if we go down, you'll be basically celebrating our relegation. So well played.
David Guiza Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 I still think we'll go down, and i'm not even sure if we'll get 18th. But, I still think the survival total will be very low. I think it's almost certainly going to be 3 from us, Burnley, QPR, Hull and Villa (Sunderland also perhaps). With our best chance of staying up being finishing above Burnley, QPR and Hull. Villa have some very winnable games, including their last two, but that doesn't mean it'll be a foregone conclusion; this is Villa after all. Home games against the likes of Swansea, QPR and Burnley should see them over the line, along with games against Sunderland away and both Everton and West Ham at home. But stranger things have happened, can't see them for the drop though. Burnley have fallen away in recent weeks and have Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Southampton, Everton and Arsenal before they face us - not too many realistically achievable from that, although they have defied the odds already this season. Think they'll be 19th/20th come the end of the season though. QPR have perhaps got the worst run in of the lot, with difficult home games and most winnable ones away, Villa, us, Palace and West Brom for example. Whilst they've finally got some points on the board away from home, they'll do well to stay up. Hull have built up a reasonable cushion from the bottom 3, but still not out of it by any means. If we were to beat them in a week or so, they have got some really tough games to follow. That's always a huge if when it involves us and winning a game in any form, particularly at home against a poor side. But that game could well be huge. Of course it's all irrelevant if we shoot ourselves in the foot for the umpteenth time this season, but there is still so much left to play for, with some very interesting fixtures.
chapero82 Posted 4 March 2015 Posted 4 March 2015 Spurs (H) Hull (A) Liverpool (A) Villa (H) Newcastle (H - cup) Spurs (A - cup) Palace (H) Arsenal (A) Everton (A) all say a different story to "useless" but it's not been great, yeah. Otherwise we wouldn't all be so angry! It's irrelevent how good we played in those matches. We still did silly mistakes to concede goals and not good enough in front of goal to win them
