Dan Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 @ people crying at other teams and players for our position! Yet don't dare criticise our own players for our shit season. Oh well, I guess we all have our own ways of dealing with things if making excuses and blaming others makes you feel better about it the go ahead, I just think people should look a little closer to home but that's my opinion others obviously have different ones. Utter ****ing bullshit.
AKCJ Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 The "and i've got to go to cunting work tomorrow" feeling in full effect. I hate football and this season can **** off.
MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 @ people crying at other teams and players for our position! Yet don't dare criticise our own players for our shit season. If you haven't figured out yet, this is the Premier League thread. We can all get back to the regular moaning and whinging tomorrow evening - in the match and post-match thread. Thank you.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 If Pearson had had any real success this season, the media would be all over him too..and you'd probably be lapping it up? I remember they were after the UTD game. What's good for the goose....? Well I don't think I would be but given that this season has been an unmitigated disaster we'll never know!
VLC86 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Sunderland were in a worse position last year and managed it. We CAN do this. If I hate anyone more than Foster at the minute it is people with blind optimism, FOAD.
GaelicFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 BBC running with "Sherwood wins first points for Villa". Sick of the media licking the arseholes of every new manager. Just spins the wheels on the managerial cycle even faster and is one of the biggest reasons this country's football has gone down the shitter. Changes seem to be work but ....the wheel has long spun Those that twisted look like staying up Those that stuck look like going down Strange but true
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I care Col! Well done mate, 1 over the bookies! Good lad...much needed I can tell ya..
theessexfox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 In fairness I like to see people winning bets it's good for the community
cjslcfc Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 If I hate anyone more than Foster at the minute it is people with blind optimism, FOAD. But where's the criticism for our players and our team? I don't see it anywhere...
teblin Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Doesnt matter really, we need to start winning. We do that we will stay up. Can't see it though.
adam Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Well that's that. Miles behind now. Absolutely free money at bet 365. 4/11 for us to go down
VLC86 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 But where's the criticism for our players and our team? I don't see it anywhere...They can all FOAD as well, happy now? Ps, look at any other topic and you will see our players get slated. If your telling me that you haven't seen any criticism of Kasper,Hamer, the geriatric twat, Morgan, Moore, de laet, Simpson, Konch, DD, James, King, Cambiasso, Knocky, Schlupp, Vardy, Nuge and Ulloa this season then il get my coat!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Oh, floaty cross. I'll just come and collect this and... tsk, missed that, hang on, I'll just go and... dang, missed it that time too, I'll have to just... gah, didn't quite get it that time either, I'll nip in ahead of this chap and collect the ball here... oops...
CosbehFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 It quite obviously is as we have seen this season, Newcastle since pardew left are worse than before, Palace are better, West Brom same players new manager again doing massively better, no doubt villa will also pull away. People that don't credit managers for the change in form are massively in denialYou've got to be kidding me about Sherwood right? In most cases the better form is more to do with a set of players who forgot working hard because they want to deflect blame on the manager during poor form. A new bloke comes in and they begin to up their game thinking 'ooo I got a contract renewal coming up and I'm not sure this guy rates me'. It's still predominantly the players. The manager doesn't miss tons of chances, the manager doesn't concede own goals.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 But it's football isn't it? You know score than most Fez. It's a horrid game which has tiny intervals of excitement and success. Rather than sit there like some are worrying about the situation or this active encouragement of negativity. I look forward and think what if. Because that's what every football fan does, particularly at the season start what if we get that striker, what if we get off to a good start, what if we get a result somewhere. It's the game. Enjoy the ride. Oh yeah, last season was great. This will only last an hour or so, then I'll be back to normal again. It's all football.
Raj Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 One of the equally 1,000 worst things about all of this is, despite all the bellends droning on about us already being down so why are we interested in Villa against West Brom, I actually sat there watching us concede that bloody goal against Burnley about ten centuries ago thinking "that's the kind of thing that gets you relegated" even though we were practically in the Champions League final at that point. And that is truly insane. It makes no sense. QPR were a non-league team at that point in the season and we'd just creamed Man United, and still I was sitting there watching Schmeichel stand somewhere near the dugout pointlessly lining up the wall and thinking this is two points gone and we can't afford to lose two points against c***ing Burnley of all teams. Even though there are 38 games and we seem to play well in almost all of the bastards and still lose every week. Balls to it all. Your not wrong there actually. Me n me mate PhilCe turned to each other when that goal went in and actually said"**** we're gonna regret that"...and your right we were almost Champions elect then!!!
Soar Fox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Good lad...much needed I can tell ya.. Recovered your money back from the £100 you put on us to stay up. Fair play
CosbehFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Changes seem to be work but ....the wheel has long spun Those that twisted look like staying up Those that stuck look like going down Strange but true What's happening at QPR then or Hull or Sunderland? Errr...
AKCJ Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Changes seem to be work but ....the wheel has long spun Those that twisted look like staying up Those that stuck look like going down Strange but true Would rather go back to the days where a sacking would be a rarity. Football is turning to shit because of it.
Izzy Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Just loving your positivity mate. Get a ****in grip will ya. If we as supporters quit now then we're letting our team down. We wouldn't expect them to quit so why should we? Keep fighting to the death. It's not over til it's over. I expect you believe in father Christmas too. I think you need to get a grip pal. A grip on reality. A realist is neither positive or negative. Might as well just rip up my season ticket and give up then mate yeah? Reality is we're in the shit but not relegated until it's mathematically impossible. Why bother 'supporting' your team if you give up with 12 games to go? I just don't get it. And yes, I do believe in Father Christmas actually
Fosse93 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 If I hate anyone more than Foster at the minute it is people with blind optimism, FOAD. Errr well no... We have an easier run in than Sunderland had and with more games to play. Sorry, scrap that, we're shit, everythings shit. That more like it for you?
AKCJ Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Shout out to Baird for pushing his own keeper over as his only bit of action in the game.
