Matt Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Still baffles me why we didn't go with the attacking intent we've seen in the last 6 or 7 games against Hull. I still say we set up not to lose against Hull, it was criminal, we could arguably be safe or almost safe if we'd won that game.
Kitchandro Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Half a job Arsenal. Come on they're there for the taking, could easily have 4 or 5. **** sake. That one plus goal difference would have been glorious. It's like Arsenal don't care about us avoiding relegation.
benpicko Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Not really though, is he? And is "thieving / stealing a living" the new "lazy journalism" in terms of shit clichés? It's especially bad when somebody's claiming that after a single bad match that's come after an amazing run of form
Guest Bilo Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 I didn't see much from Hull that suggests they can win at WHL or beat a Man Utd side trying to ensure their place in the Champions League. Burnley at home is their equivalent of our game at Sunderland.
AKCJ Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 I wonder if the media will continue with the "Hull are too good to go down"? The only reason they're not dead and buried is because they've got heart like we do.
Tielemans63 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Oh well, we'd have probably all taken 16th place before kick off so got to be happy with that.

Callabinho Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 It's like Arsenal don't care about us avoiding relegation. I know, how bloody rude of them. Still, it does put is in a good position at the weekend!
Webbo Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Shame they pulled 1 back, otherwise couldn't gone much better.
AKCJ Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Not really though, is he? And is "thieving / stealing a living" the new "lazy journalism" in terms of shit clichés? Never heard of an exaggeration? It takes a serious level of shit to go unnoticed when you've got Cazorla, Ramsey, Sanchez, Wilshere and Ozil playing like that behind you.
ousefox Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 How on earth did Hull manage to get the same result we got against Chelsea with that performance?!
Finn Claw II Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 16th - decent If 18 goals this season is considered derisory, I'd like to know what represents 'paying his way'
Corky Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Bit disappointed with that second half, Arsenal could've had several more and Hull's goal had a clear foul in the build up. Good to move up a place but we should've had a gap in goal difference.
RowlattsFox Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Anything can happen in the last few games. Hull could lose to Burnley but beat united on the final day, especially if they've already finished 4th. Sunderland could spring a surprise at already champions Chelsea.

I agree totally Matt, it's gone, and hopefully won't haunt us.As much as I think during the barren run, this mentality was an issue, it's all about the next : games mate. Beat Southampton Saturday, I think a point out of the last two will be enough, winning all 3 would be amazing.
Jimothy Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 16th - decent If 18 goals this season is considered derisory, I'd like to know what represents 'paying his way' Not only his goals but he provides some lovely touches around edge of the box to bring others into play. Also one of the best strikers at meeting the ball at the near post. He was quiet tonight, but he's far from shit.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 How on earth did Hull manage to get the same result we got against Chelsea with that performance?! Chelsea took their chances in the second half as we'd battered them for 45 minutes - Arsenal went into training mode for the second half, their job already done. Big, big result that....Match Hull point for point, goal for goal, and we won't go down, end of !! Would rather have our run-in than theirs and we have that 6 goal 'cushion' with goals scored !! Big plus tonight was that they looked like a team aiming to limit the damage, rather than go for it...The Aluko/Robertson substitution confirmed that ! Have an odd, gut feeling that Danny Ings will come good on Saturday, score twice and keep Dyche's miracle alive....QPR will be gone come the weekend...Burnley won't be the first club relegated ! Defeats for Hull and Sunderland would be dreamland - just so long as we got a result against Southampton!
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Would you rather all of Sunderland, Hull, Newcastle and ourselves won or all lost at the weekend?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Would you rather all of Sunderland, Hull, Newcastle and ourselves won or all lost at the weekend? Win and shove Villa in it.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 And Villa then. I've a theory as far as survival for us goes all lose. We are flying and full of confidence, one defeat won't dampen that, and we'd still be 16th. Newcastle lose again they're absolutely balls deep in trouble. Just if one or the other had to happen, obviously would rather we won and the others all lost.
AKCJ Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Win and shove Villa in it. All win, we keep our momentum and still stay out of the bottom.
weller54 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Saturday.. Everton 2 Sunderland 1 Newcastle 1 Wba 3 Hull 1 Burnley 1 Foxes 1 Southampton 0 Villa 2 Hammers 0
KFS Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 Saturday.. Everton 2 Sunderland 1 Newcastle 1 Wba 3 Hull 1 Burnley 1 Foxes 1 Southampton 0 That would be dreamland
