Samilktray Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 The sooner they sack him and he fvcks off into obscurity the better. Annoying little man.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 What the fvck? Managers constantly get berated for being bland, bullshitting, giving cliched answers and the first time an honest one comes along who doesn't seem to take any shit he gets the piss taken out of him? This is why the majority of fans are hypocritical dickheads. He's done an alright job and he's been a bit naive in some of the things he's said but doing this with the fan is hilarious. If Mou had done it you'd all be lapping it up. Pathetic. Agree, I like him. He's down to earth and says it how he sees it. Yesterday he did what possibly every manager in the country would love to do when receiving some stick. Fair play.
Narborough_fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Think he could end up at West Brom now they've got rid of Pepe Mel. Seems to be in the right ilk for the West Brom job as he's more of a head coach than a manager, something that West Brom seem to like recently.

suffolk fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Why all the hate for tim Sherwood? Two of his sidekicks played for us for gawds sake. Les Ferdinand and Stefan Freund. Didn't do a bad job at Spurs under very difficult circumstances. Hard to please Mr Levy. Wouldn't mind him here if Mr Pearson comes up short in the premier league.

He did a good job at Spurs, Sherwood, he'll get another job soon.
Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 He has a sense of humour but I just found him annoying. He just had that arrogant cockney thing that gets on my wick.

If Mou had done it you'd all be lapping it up. Pathetic. I'm surprised he's not more liked, I mean I despise him but people love Mou Mou's five year old persona which is less tolerable than Sherwood's idiocy. Why does everyone actually hate him? Spurs fans hate him because he claimed to be one of the biggest spurs fans you would ever meet, even though he supported Arsenal as a kid. and for stabbing AVB in the back for a shot on the hot seat.

bovril Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Spurs shot themselves in the foot when they appointed him until - when was it - end of 2015? He's done a good job but he was never going to be the man to take them where they want to be, and they must've known that when they gave him the job.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Spurs shot themselves in the foot when they appointed him until - when was it - end of 2015? He's done a good job but he was never going to be the man to take them where they want to be, and they must've known that when they gave him the job. Who is the man? Spurs haven't been 'where they've wanted to be' for years. The appointment of AVB was a bigger joke than us appointing Sven and even more expensive. Who was the last man to get them into top four? Redknapp.. who spent significantly LESS than AVB, the latter wasting the bulk of the money they got for Bale.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 AVB had the best win percentage as Spurs manager, agreed a total joke of an appointment .

How AVB is the worst is a bit odd.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 AVB had the best win percentage as Spurs manager, agreed a total joke of an appointment .If yoy genuinely believe AVB was the best manager Spurs have had in recent times you're a bigger joke than he was.The man is a charlatan and God knows how he has made the money out of the game he has. Less than a season in charge at Chelsea... huge payout. Less than a season in charge at Spurs... huge payout. Some of the signings he spunked the Bale money on.. incredible really. More fool Levy and now, with ANOTHER sacking, this time of Sherwood (with ANOTHER payout), the merry-go-round begins again. Thank God Levy dont run our club.
Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 How can people judge AVB when he keeps getting sacked after 6 months? Agree on Levy though. What an appalling chairman, if you keep having to sack your own appointments its about time you considered your own position.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 I'm sorry, I don't believe I said he was the best manager in Spurs in recent times. But comparing him to Sven's appointment is ****ing ludicrous. You also said Arry' spent significantly less on transfers, I suggest you do some homework fella . I'm not defending the signings this season, but the presence of the DoF certainly played apart in the failure of them. He did very well in his first season but when you lose a player like Bale from you team, it's very hard to compensate. All your points on Levy are spot on, why he gave someone like Tim the permanent role is astounding to me and to scrap him after a few months is even more ridiculous. EDIT: Just incase it came across this way, I'm not suggesting AVB was better than Arry
foxfanazer Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 How can people judge AVB when he keeps getting sacked after 6 months? Erm......?

Stadt Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Erm......? It's not as if he has deserved it though is it?
Soar Fox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 It's not as if he has deserved it though is it? He spent close to £100 million last summer and when he left they were 7th and had lost 5-0 against Liverpool and 6-0 against Man City. He lost the dressing room at both Chelsea and Tottenham and it's no surprise both clubs did better when he left them.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Spurs haven't exactly done better when he left them.
foxfanazer Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 It's not as if he has deserved it though is it?I think he did personally
