Lloyd Dyer to Watford

Recommended Posts

I've seen it all now some daft **** from Watford said this about Dyer.

"Dyer getting portrayed as only having pace is wrong. Decent technically, very strong to go with his pace, can use both feet and gets in goalscoring positions."

Two footed?!?!?!?! :nigel:

Strength isn't a technical attribute nor is getting into Goalscoring positions

Great memories of Lloyd. Crowd on its feet roaring 'Go on lloydy'. Been a great player for us, always exciting, often frustrating, but the kind of guy most of us want at our club, as blue as we are. Best of luck lloyd, and thanks for all you have contributed. Would think he'd always be welcome back at the KP. Hope we draw watford in the cup next year - and beat them 6 -0!

Dyer has been a great and loyal player for Leicester, and in many ways will come to represent the early days of our resurrection, as he was here from League One to the cusp of the PL.

It's a real shame he won't get to play in the PL for Leicester, but he must've though long and hard about this decision and I personally wish him all the best.

Fair play to the Lad if he is getting a 3 year deal somewhere else. Football is a short career and you have to make as much as you can while you can at his level. Being loyal is a load of nonsense, it's his livelihood and he must do what's best for him and he family.

Thanks Lloyd, you've been a great player for us over the last 6 years. All the best for the future!

Absolutely gutted but best of luck Lloydy! Can't blame him for taking 3 years.

Top 5 Lloyd moments:

1) Goal at Bolton to win the title

2) Goal at Hereford - absolute scenes after Howard hit the bar

3) Last minute winner at Huddersfield in League One after throwing away a two goal lead

4) Winner against Fulham in the Cup this year

5) Injury time equaliser against Bristol City after they scored with what they thought was the last kick of the game.

Honourable mentions go to terrorising Ipswich (RIP Bradley Orr), goals against Orient, Madrid, Man City and Bolton at home this year. Lloyd will always be a City legend in my eyes.

Well said.

Happy with this move for our lloyd. He's gone to a club that wants to be challenging at the top of the championship and should do well. I would have hated for him to go to the car crash at notts forest and wasted the remaining years of his career tangled up in that mess.

Like any signing going to give him a chance.

Just pleased to have somebody who knows what the Championship is about and with some pace.

Maybe a gamble on the length of contract but I'd have more faith in Dyer doing well than the tosh we signed last summer..

I'd be thrilled if I were you. An important player in a title-winning team who's just had the best season of his career.

If he wasn't out of contract you'd spend the equivalent of a year's wages on a fee instead.

All the best Lloyd - One of my favourite moments has to be was when he squared up to vieira the first time we played against Man city
