KFS Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Is his agent just aligning his name to all the teams that have fvcked us off over the last couple of seasons in an attempt to push the club through fan power?
LCFC31 Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Maybe this is part of the Anya deal? No, because he is out of contract. Dyer that is.
Babylon Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Maybe this is part of the Anya deal? What... we gave them a player out of contract and free to move elsewhere without our say so?
Fox92 Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Now we're really trolling Watford. Just giving them players that won't sign new deals.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Slightly disappointed, he wouldn't have started but would have been good to bring on late in a game. But he definitely wasn't worth a 2-3 year contract, so good luck to him. He has a season maybe two left in him in the championship.
cc_star Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Of all our players Dyer has had pretty much the greatest success Vs Premier League sides. Wouldn't be my first name on the teamsheet, but provides a real alternative to Knockaert's glacial speed & ability to lose shape & discipline should he get a mard on. IMO Dyer is a worthy squad member and will be a great option to assist in changing our style off the bench. Best of luck whatever happens Dyer, you were instrumental in our promotion with a great season when we needed it... And if it's true - congrats on the 3 year deal!
LCFC31 Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 This makes me feel all... That is one of the most upsetting things I've ever seen.

I agree with you there, but I'm sure Pearson will certainly be looking at bringing someone else in now, who can make an impact...
rico Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 What Watford fans think, seem very pleased apart from 1 who thinks hes injury prone http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?51441-Lloyd-Dyer
Hornets_Nest Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 I expect it's only a matter of days, or hours even until Lloyd loses his pace, you only have to look at Ryan Giggs to see that wide players really can't hack it much into their 30s in the Prem, let alone one year in the championship.
Unabomber Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 First Forest and now this, I just can't take it anymore. Why can't he just go to Sheffield Wednesday or something.
Bayfox Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Lloyd. Part of me would have preferred to see you go to that red lot up the road. Ok maybe not. but is 3 years of championship football really worth more than 1 shot at the top flight after 7 years at the same club. If he left after that he would still get a 2 year deal at a championship or top l1 side. What a shame we won't have his pace as an impact sub. Afterall man city and real madrid cant handle the lloyd.

He might not have done, any sign of his pace going off and no one will offer him a two year deal. He has done very well to get a 3 year contract.
RowlattsFox Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Disappointing if he was to leave but that's for sentimental reasons. He would obviously prefer long term security then a year go in the prem. he probably knows he won't play much so there's no point playing reserves and cup football.
FrankieADZ Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 If he feels its the best for him....then I dont blame him at all.....he's gave his all for us... he'll be missed a hell of alot. .....thank you Lloyd for helping us get to our goal...you'll always be a legend(to me anyway)

Been a good player for us, reliable and professional. Good luck to him
foxfanazer Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Will always get a massive round of applause from me if he returns to the KP with another club. Gets banded about a bit too much but he's truly been a great servant to the club and genuinely cares about us
Master Fox Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Lloyd has already retired. He needed to pull the pants down of a club in order to bag a three year deal. And who better than Watford? Lloyd will work the dark arts from within, upset the dressing room. He is one of us. Clearly a strategic move from Leicester and Lloyd to make sure Watford get relegated next season.
StanSP Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 So what if it's Watford that he goes to? Our business is done with them - they're the ones that can't let it go. If Watford were one of the teams we were playing next season then I'd question his choice, but they're not Some of you need to grow up. We knew he wasn't going to come to our terms otherwise there would have been an earlier compromise. Yes it is a shame he is leaving, but to where does not matter and should not matter to us. Even if it was Forest. Anyway, good luck Lloyd. Thanks for the memories and efforts over the past 6 years. The Championship-winning goal vs Bolton will live long in the memory.
