hornet matey,

we have certainly stung you guys a few times recently!!!

DEENEY!!!!!!!!!!

In all fairness, we're in the premier league, and you're not, we're better than you, our players are better than yours, our manager is better than yours, our stadium is better than yours, and our city is much nicer than your surrounding area, so if you could quietly accept these things, maybe you'll realise you're not a very good football club. :)

lol lol

Do Watford fans think that we are still bothered about what happened last season? You won fair enough, but then you lost in the final when your team bottled it.

A year on we've won the championship, took 4 points off you and will be playing in the premiership next season. Enjoy another year of watching championship football whilst having a revolving door of foreign loans players coming in and out.

Championes championes championes ole ole ole

Yes, my wife was disgusted with the behaviour of some fellow hornets, A steward I spoke to said we were the worst supporters so far (not normally the case) I think she might go shopping next season!!

Anyway good luck for next season I like Leicester, fans, manager. You have an excellent set up ready for the prem. Always a good away trip.

You have a wife???

By the way you act on here I thought you were some spotty 15 year old hiding behind a computer screen.

You do realise a hornet is a type of wasp don't you?

Yeah you have, like at Vicarage Road this season and by finishing 42 points ahead of us this season. Oh wait no.

Unfortunately you are spot on with these comments. Hopefully we will improve but i'm delightfully stuck with the team I have supported for nearly 50 years.

Well, a hornet is just a bigger, more annoying type of wasp.

Lloyd obviously didn't fancy playing in a team being thrashed most weeks at the bottom of the perm. He might say hi when Watford are promoted next season and you lot come straight back down.

:giggle::clap: :nuge: :crylaugh:

This is actually a genuine question... With Watford being so far off the pace this season, what do you think needs to happen for you to be a bit closer to the top?

Bringing things back on track quickly - what is his presence like off the pitch? I think off-field presence was a quality we lacked this season.

Hopefully this also answers the question below.

Off the field Lloyd comes across as a pretty quiet family guy. He generally shys away from the media and is happy to do what he gets paid for, playing football.

I wouldn't expect him to be the life and soul of the party but he will earn respect from others due to how hard he works.

Sadly, we're in the Premier League now and couldn't give a fudge anymore. Whereas you and your fellow few eternal sour Watford followers will continue to live through endless miseries in the Championship (or even a tier below) and thrive on one particular moment in your recent history that gave you... an unsuccessful trip to Wembley. :D

Have fun and don't cry if your "promise on paper" doesn't live up to your half-baked ground and your megalomaniac expectations.

P.S.: Be kind to our Lloyd. He's one of a kind. And not even a foreign import.

he seems sound. he loves his team. he will happily stand up for himself and the team no matter what, he fronted vieira when we played city and supposedly offered out the whole city ground when we beat forest last year. if he joins you and begins an affection with the club like he had with ours there's no way you can't love him

Lloyd was a great player for us although I know some fans didnt take to him.

I am in 2 minds about the deal, he is a loss no doubt about it, but we do have a replacement already and I think we will make signings that would have made him a bench player at best, also his age is a factor, I think we were right to not agree to 3 years.

At watford I will watch him to see if he is there for a final pay day type deal (where he doesnt put in a shift) or he plays well for them, he is good enough alone to drag them in the top 6.  But I think he will only have 1-2 seasons left in him for championship level football.

It will be a shame if he hasnt taken the 1 year deal but im coming round to the idea of not offering 2.

I expect us to be looking for a new LB to replace or compete with Konchesky as Schluup will be bumped up to full time winger. Ready made replacement.

He's kept out of the media side of things for a reason, the lad can't string a sentence together. You'll love him though as long as your fans aren't football purists who crave technical players and have no time for erratic football. Dyer when on form will win you matches but he'll also drive you insane with his brainless decisions at times. He is an atrocious crosser, he's very one footed (Bolton goal aside) and you will witness his inability to do the simple things right. He also goes missing from about December to February every season, it's happened pretty much every year for us but he still does enough at the start and the end of the seasons to have him in the mix. His pace is frightening, he's so direct and although his finishing is erratic it's up there with the best wingers in the league.

Seems quiet, likes to get on with things.

Quality player if you get him, but you will need someone to keep up with him up front when he decides to run with the ball.

Great pace, final ball can be hot/cold, seems to close his eyes and hope when he actually takes a shot, but some of them actually go in!

Not normally one to get into a spat with opposition supporters but Lloyd if you are reading this and you mind isn't quite made up perhaps the link below will assist your thought process:-

Do you really want to playing in front of that every other week?

How long have they been building that eyesore?
