Grandad. Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 It's becoming boring now. He's done wrong, he will be banned, the majority of you won't like the length of ban, I probably won't like it either.. Be done with it now, everyone including myself are just going over and over the same things regarding this.
AKCJ Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 that's different though, i can see why he'd be loved for that, he sacrificed himself for the team. he got punished and suspended but he helped his team get through. this time though they're honestly saying "yes the shoulder collided with luis' face" or something along those lines, and then blaming the english media. it's on tele! i can see it, why are they denying that it even happened?! It's a strange mentality. The general opinion it's just a 'coming together' and the 'media are making a mountain out of a mole hill'.
RonnieTodger Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Who the **** do the Uruguayan FA and Suarez think they're fooling? There is literally nothing they can hide behind.
johnny the fox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 9 game ban from now.. 4 month ban from all football...
Darkon84 Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Is that 9 games, or 4 months...whichever comes first? Or 9 internationals, and 4 months from the start of the domestic season?
GingerrrFox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 So he misses 9 Premier League games for Liverpool (how many games they have in that 4 month period). Interesting that he is banned from entering any football stadium for 4 months. Also if he's banned from any footballing activity surely that includes Liverpool's training ground?
Jimothy Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Is that 9 games, or 4 months...whichever comes first? Or 9 internationals, and 4 months from the start of the domestic season? I'm reading it as nine internationals and 4 months from any football.
Grandad. Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Can see Liverpool appealing the ban to be honest, misses more games for club than he will for country yet the incident was representing country. Sanchez and £60 million seems even more appealing now.

Sanchez and £60 million seems even more appealing now. He misses same number of Premier League and International games - 9 for each due to the number of months banned. I can imagine they factored that into their decision.

Interesting that he is banned from entering any football stadium for 4 months. Also if he's banned from any footballing activity surely that includes Liverpool's training ground? Champions League as well. Could miss some vital games. No he's allowed to train, he can't take part in any competitive football sanctioned by the FA.
Grandad. Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 He will miss 13 Liverpool games, League Cup 2nd round and three Champions League games. His ban on "any football related activity, including administrative" also means he cannot be sold.
GingerrrFox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Champions League as well. Could miss some vital games. No he's allowed to train, he can't take part in any competitive football sanctioned by the FA. The FIFA spokeswoman said he was banned from all footballing activity. The statement wasn't worded in the best way really.

Sanchez and £60 million seems even more appealing now. That shouldn't matter too much. They bought the player, they've stuck by him through race and previous biting incidents. They've had plenty of chance to get rid. This is his third time. Liverpool have made their bed, now they must lie in it.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Should've been a condition of his return to football that he wears a muzzle.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 The FIFA spokeswoman said he was banned from all footballing activity. The statement wasn't worded in the best way really. They can't do that, is he not allowed to nip down the park and do a few keepy upys then? Trust me they have jurisdiction over competitive football and that's what they meant, can't stop him training. Can't tell Liverpool who they let in there training ground and who they can't it's nothing to do with them. Where as any game at Anfield obviously is indirectly sanctioned by the FA, therefore UEFA, therefore FIFA.
johnny the fox Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Don't think it matters what Liverpool do..he's offski.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 He will miss 13 Liverpool games, League Cup 2nd round and three Champions League games. His ban on "any football related activity, including administrative" also means he cannot be sold. Your in Europe so you've a bye to the third.
Grandad. Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 Don't think it matters what Liverpool do..he's offski. Off where? This ban of theirs means he can't be sold. Your in Europe so you've a bye to the third. Oh yeah, might be the third round he misses then.
Jimothy Posted 26 June 2014 Posted 26 June 2014 That shouldn't matter too much. They bought the player, they've stuck by him through race and previous biting incidents. They've had plenty of chance to get rid. This is his third time. Liverpool have made their bed, now they must lie in it. Was just coming to post pretty much the same thing. Liverpool have indulged him in these activities, as you say they've made their bed. They'll only launch an appeal because he so good. If this had been Glenn Johnson I doubt they'd have given a ****. In fact they'd have sold or sacked him after the first incident. I'm sure they'll feel hard done by, but this is what you get when you stand by someone who's a total ****, even though they might be really good at their job.
