GingerrrFox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Think that's a bit over the top. It's not really he was biting with his incisors and not his molars so the force of the bite would be considerably less but a human can still produce about 60lbs of force from a bite like that. Easily enough to take a chunk of flesh with it.
Dan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Anyone read that article about him headbutting a ref in Uruguay when he was 15? Was covered up (the ref's character completely tarnished) because he was such a talented player. Sums that country's football up really - full of animals. Not surprised. There's a reason that lot are hated by Brazil & Argentina almost as much as they do each other.
Stadt Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 There's some serious overreaction here. He's an idiot and a weirdo but at the end of the day it's a little bite. It's the third time he's done it so the punishment should be worse that previous but like some people have said, it's not like he's tried to end a players career. Saying he should never play international football again is ridiculous. He's quite clearly a cheat, this is the second he's done something scandalous at the World Cup finals and the third time he's bit somebody. He doesn't deserve to play at the next World Cup or Copa America again and is it really worth playing him in friendlies? It's inexcusable. You might think it's over the top but I think an example needs to be made of him - if you're mental then you can't continually get away with regardless of your ability as a footballer.

It's over the top, no way he could take a chunk out of his shoulder biting him like that.
johnny the fox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Think Liverpool are going to play 4 chew 4 this season..
fazzyfox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 He should receive a two match domestic ban preferably the two against us.

RonnieTodger Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I do support Liverpool, yes, well done. I'm not blaming anyone apart from Luis Suarez, he did the stupid act. I just don't get the hysteria around it all, I really don't? You are all acting like he has never done this before. More importantly the media are acting like he has never done it before. He will get a massive international ban, that's it. Forget it, move on. Bollocks. We're acting like he's done this twice before, which he has. We can't just brush this under the carpet because our national team have been poor. He's a 27 year old man, how can you not understand the hysteria? My dog has bitten three less people than him. As for the accusations of our media's agenda against him, I hope there is one. Grind him down until he leaves because I don't want that **** winning awards in our league no matter how good he is. Lets not forget, biting isn't the only thing he's done wrong. He's a cheat, he's a racist, he's an animalistic thug. I hate Roy Keane just as much if not more than anyone else. What he did to Haaland was outrageous but it was human-like. In a fight, if you intend to hurt someone you use your extremities don't you? Not your teeth. The thing that annoyed me is how many people only renewed their hatred towards him after his goals against England. That performance was exactly what is right with Luis Suarez, his brilliance on the pitch. I think a year's ban from all football would be appropriate, but I don't know the laws and to be honest I could forgive fifa officials for forgetting the punishments they have in hand for biting.
Guest MattP Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 The really sad thing is I think deep down we all know they'll be a fourth time as well....
purpleronnie Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Do you think the media in this country will be talking about it much more than anywhere else?, sure he's a premiership player but we do seem to like the drama.

Manwell Pablo Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Oh I understand it will be a big story in some countries especially Italy, but do you think they'll drag it out for months?, I bet we will. It's not going to be back page news in months is it. As it's been said it'll be harder to forget because the twat will more than likely be back over here playing football.
marko Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 The really sad thing is I think deep down we all know they'll be a fourth time as well.... Just a matter of time, as is explained in this article. He even publicly called that Suarez would bite again straight after he dined out on Ivanovic's arm. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28014468
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chiellini."
Dan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 The really sad thing is I think deep down we all know they'll be a fourth time as well.... I hope it's Wasyl. I genuinely think Suarez would get absolutely clattered.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 hummmm i imagine it would be something like this.......
Guest Bilo Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I do support Liverpool, yes, well done. I'm not blaming anyone apart from Luis Suarez, he did the stupid act. He will get a massive international ban, that's it. Forget it, move on. That's what makes it worse! It means that the behaviour has become habitual and shows that, far from being an aberration or rush of blood, it's an instinctive reaction. That suggests profound mental health issues that suggest he should probably not be on a football pitch right now. In the past; he's headbutted a referee, bitten three players and racially abused another. The man needs help.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I hope it's Wasyl. I genuinely think Suarez would get absolutely clattered. 'It looks as though Suarez has come off worse from Wasilewski's retaliation. Can see the Polish international going in the book.' 'Cheers, Geoff.'
Guest ttfn Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Astonishing whatabouterry on the previous page. He should have the book thrown at him. Tyson's crime was far worse but at least it was a first offence. Three times!
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 What will a player have to do to be banned from playing the game? Actually commit murder on the pitch? The bit I don't get is this: if you or I was walking down the street and bit somebody, it's a criminal offence and could be seen as what ABH? (I ain't a legal bod) Why haven't the Brazilian Police Authorities got involved in terms of investigating this? Is it somehow NOT a criminal offence because it occurred on a football pitch? I don't get that bit?
The Doctor Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Quite the opposite. Most people are outraged because of the fact that he has done it before, and after four years and three seperate incidents of the same nature, it's clear that the bloke hasn't learned a fucking thing about how you should behave as a person, let alone on a football pitch. In a sport where we lament the lack of integrity and sportsmanship, it baffles me that certain people are actually jumping to his defence, and it's saddening to think that, after he serves his ban, he'll likely end up back playing club football on a hefty salary, because it doesn't seem to matter how much of a cunt you are, as long as you're good enough. Quite - but this wouldn't happen in any other walk of life. You wouldn't go into an office one day and hear "Jeff keeps biting people", "Yeah, but he can type a hundred words a minute, he's great at admin".
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Frankly, if nothing much happens about Suarez, it's game over. Never again could I trust or respect the footballing authorities. Not taking some very strong action would send out completely the wrong message to everyone involved in the sport. Quite frankly, apart from Leicester City football club, my love of ' the beautiful game' is dwindling somewhat. Don't get me wrong, I still love watching football, and the World Cup has been brilliant. But the England debacle has soured it somewhat. And what goes on off the pitch is getting worse. Money, money, money.
